The valve assembly includes a valve body housing, at least first and second valve balls (16) and between said first and second valve balls are provided first and second valve seats (104, 106) wherein said valve seats are biased towards their respective valve balls by common biasing means. The valve seats which lie between said valve balls are typically provided as part of a common valve seat assembly which includes the biasing means.

摘要： The invention relates to a valve of the type particularly, but not necessarily exclusively, for use underwater, to allow the selective opening and closing of the flow of fluid between first and second passages. The valve is capable of withstanding operation by machines such as ROV’s and includes in the valve a cavity for the reception of fluid from the first passage which, once in the cavity, exerts a pressure force on the valve member to a closed position thereby aiding the movement of the member and allowing the same to be moved under the influence of a valve stem which can be operated manually.

摘要： The invention relates to a valve assembly which includes at least one, but typically two, balls located along a passage and which balls can be moved between open and closed positions to selectively control the passage of fluid along the passage. The valve assembly includes at at least one end thereof a retaining assembly which allows the effective sealing against one surface of a ball and retention of the same in position. A sealing assembly is also provided when two balls are provided, intermediate the same, which allows effective sealing to be achieved and at least one of the two trunnions which allows each of the balls to be mounted within the valve body is located only internally of the valve body. The components of the valve assembly which are located within the same can in one embodiment all be inserted into and located within the valve body from one common end.
