    Abstract: Techniques are described to perform transmission of a reference signal such as a sounding reference signal (SRS). An example wireless communication method includes performing, by a network device, a first transmission that indicates a plurality of partial frequency factor values to a communication device, wherein each partial frequency factor value indicates a number used to determine a reduced number of resource blocks by the communication device to transmit a reference signal; and performing a second transmission, after the first transmission and to the communication device, of one or more bits that indicate a partial frequency factor value from the plurality of partial frequency factor values.

    Abstract: A system and method for sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission are disclosed herein. In one implementation, a method performed by a wireless communication device includes receiving, by a wireless communication device from a wireless communication node, information that configures a plurality of resources, wherein an allocation of a portion of the resources is configured based on a repetition number of the reference signals within a slot and a resource block (RB) offset, and sending, by the wireless communication device to the wireless communication node, a plurality of reference signals using the portion of the resources. In another implementation, a method performed by a wireless communication node includes sending, by a wireless communication node to a wireless communication device, information that configures a plurality of resources, wherein an allocation of a portion of the resources is configured based on a repetition number of the reference signals within a slot and a resource block (RB) offset, and receiving, by the wireless communication node from the wireless communication device, a plurality of reference signals using the portion of the resources.

    Abstract: Presented are systems and methods for sounding reference signal (SRS) indication enhancement. A wireless communication device may determine to perform a first sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission in a first component carrier (CC). The wireless communication device may determine to perform the first SRS in an available time unit according to a time offset and a second SRS transmission in a second CC. A wireless communication device may receive one or more lists of carrier indicator (CIF) values for SRS transmissions from a wireless communication node. The wireless communication device may determine a first SRS transmission according to the one or more lists of CIF values. The wireless communication device may determine a first SRS transmission according to a value of a CIF field in a downlink control information (DCI).

    Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods, systems and devices for enhancing sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission for a user equipment (UE). One method includes receiving, by the UE, downlink control information (DCI) via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from a network base station, the DCI configured to trigger the SRS transmission according to at least one parameter of the SRS transmission. Another method includes sending, by a network base station to the UE, downlink control information (DCI) via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), the DCI configured to trigger the SRS transmission according to at least one parameter of the SRS transmission.
