Abstract: A flashlight is provided which includes an elongate and generally cylindrical body having a first end and a second end, a lamp assembly attached to the first end, and a removable end cap attached to the second end. The end cap is removable for inserting a power source for powering a light source of the lamp assembly. A sleeve is attached on a lower part of the body at the second end. A slidable leg stand is removably attached to the body and limited in travel along a longitudinal axis of the body between a bottom of the lamp assembly and a top of the sleeve.
