A site light includes a body, an arm coupled to the body having an adjustable arm length, a light assembly coupled to the arm opposite the body, and a drive mechanism with a crank arm rotatable about a first axis. Rotating the crank arm in a first direction causes the arm length to increase. Rotating the crank arm in a second direction causes the arm length to decrease. The drive mechanism is adjustable between a first configuration, where the crank arm can only rotate in the first direction, and a second configuration, where the crank arm can be rotated in the first direction and the second direction.

A portable light includes a light stand having a longitudinal axis and a light assembly section attached to the light stand. The light assembly section is adapted to be connected to a power source and includes a support having a support axis being rotatable and linearly displaceable relative to the longitudinal axis of the light stand; a light panel holder tiltably attached to the support such that the light panel holder is tiltable relative to the support axis; and a light panel removably connected to the light panel holder and tiltable relative to the support axis. The light panel contains a rechargeable battery and a light selectively electrically connectable to at least one of the power source and the rechargeable battery when the light panel is connected with the light panel holder and being powered by the rechargeable battery when the light panel is removed from the light panel holder.

A target lighting apparatus having a tray seating one or more light bulbs connected to a deflector, which is attached to one or more shock-absorbing arms, such that the deflector blocks the tray from any projectiles and the shock-absorbing arms absorb the impact of projectiles that come in contact with the deflector. In some embodiments, the tray, the one or more light bulbs, the deflector and the one or more shock-absorbing arms form a second frame which is adjustably connected to a base frame such that the second frame can slide from the back of the base frame to the front of the base frame and can rotate about an axis along the front of the base frame from a closed position to an open position. The one or more light bulbs are powered by a battery pack. The battery pack may be solar charged by solar panels.

A system and a method for structurally and for removably connecting a 2 parts together, the system comprising a first plate with at least one receiving unit securable to a first part; a second plate comprising at least one male unit on a first surface thereof and securable to a second part. To connect the two parts together, the at least one male unit is engaged into the at least one receiving unit. When the two parts need be disconnected and separated, it suffices to pull out the male unit from the receiving unit of the first plate.

A flashlight is provided which includes an elongate and generally cylindrical body having a first end and a second end, a lamp assembly attached to the first end, and a removable end cap attached to the second end. The end cap is removable for inserting a power source for powering a light source of the lamp assembly. A sleeve is attached on a lower part of the body at the second end. A slidable leg stand is removably attached to the body and limited in travel along a longitudinal axis of the body between a bottom of the lamp assembly and a top of the sleeve.
