A corn removal device including a housing constructed to be held by a user's hand and adapted to be moved along a surface of an ear of corn. The housing defines a cavity and an opening that accesses the cavity. The corn removal device also includes a blade attached to the housing adjacent to the opening. The blade is adapted to remove corn kernels from the surface of the ear of corn and guide the corn kernels through the opening and into the cavity for storage.

IMPLEMENTO COMPACTO PARA SEPARAR E LIMPAR GRÃOS DIVERSOS, constituído por chassi (1) apoiado sobre rodagem usual (2) e eixo transversal (3), incluindo também uma lança de engate universal (4) e um pé de carreta usual (5); sobre o chassi (1) está integrado longitudinalmente um túnel de processamento (6) disposto de forma inclinada, ficando a parte mais baixa voltada para frente, enquanto a parte mais alta está voltada para trás; dito túnel de processamento (6) constitui estrutura de montagem para uma boca de alimentação (7) interligada com o conjunto de acionamento (8a), enquanto pelo lado oposto está sincronizada com o conjunto batedor (9) e, abaixo deste, está montado o conjunto intermediário de separação e limpeza (10) dos grãos, este e o primeiro terminam em uma caixa posterior de ventilação forçada (11) que, por sua vez, complementa simultaneamente as duas fases de limpeza por meio de um fluxo de ar dividido em dois setores, sucção (entrada de ar) e sopro (saída do ar), sendo que o ponto de sucção está no final do conjunto intermediário de separação e limpeza (10) dos grãos, para remover a poeira e partículas semelhantes, enquanto o ponto de sopro está posicionado na final do conjunto batedor (9), com o objetivo de facilitar a saída do material descartado mais grosso; e abaixo do conjunto de ventilação forçada (11) e montado no final do chassi (1), localiza-se o conjunto de ensaque dos grãos limpos (12) e o conjunto vibrador (13), sendo que, ainda, na parte posterior da estrutura está montado o último conjunto de acionamento (8b) que, por sua vez, constitui transmissão e sincronização de rotação simultânea do conjunto batedor (9) para o conjunto intermediário de separação e limpeza (10), conjunto de ventilação (11) e conjunto vibrador (13).

A combine is provided with an improved system for collecting agricultural material, such as stover, from an agricultural field. The combine is provided with an impeller to assist in driving stover through a duct and into a container. The combine separates and cleans the stover and any seed before directing the stover and seed into separate containers provided on the combine.

A feed system for a biomass collection device uses a conveyor for dropping a flow comprising a mixture of denser or heavier biomass to be collected such as cobs, and less dense or lighter biomass residue such as leaf trash, through a space, and rotary feed apparatus below for receiving the flow, operable for propelling the received flow into a collection device, in combination with a fan configured and operable for directing a flow of air along a second path intersecting the first path in a manner to divert at least a substantial portion of the less dense or lighter biomass residue away from the feed apparatus, while allowing substantially all of the denser or heavier biomass to continue along the first path to the feed apparatus for feeding into the collection device. Distribution apparatus along the second path can then be used to spread the diverted biomass.

A cob conveying and cleaning system for use with a corn harvester, incorporating air induction in cooperation with an air flow from the harvester, for cleaning and separating lighter crop residue to be returned to the field from a mixed flow of the residue and cobs, such that the cleaned cobs can be collected, and the lighter residue optionally spread on the field. The air flow and induction are combined to cooperatively lift or draw the lighter residue from the mixed flow, and to optionally spread the removed lighter residue over a field, if desired. The induction apparatus can be located on the harvester, and used as a residue spreader when cobs are not collected.

The present invention relates to a thrashing drum (100) that can maximize thrashing efficiency while minimizing load occurring when the drum is rotated in a trashing process. The thrashing drum (100) includes a shaft (2) having axle portions formed on its both sides, a plurality of support plates (3) formed on the shaft (2) at specific intervals, a primary thrashing unit configured to primarily separate ears and corns from stems or branches of crops input thereto and that is disposed in the support plates, a secondary thrashing unit configured to secondarily separate by blowing ears and corns that have not been thrashed in the primary thrashing unit and that is disposed in the support plates, and a discharge unit configured to thirdly discharge the stems or branches that have been thrashed and that is disposed in the support plates (3).
