Abstract:
A cosmetic and healthcare brush 1 is disclosed for applying a cosmetic and healthcare mass onto the hair or skin, preferably eyelashes 70, comprising: (i) a core section 10 of at least two mutually-twisted together wire segments 12, (ii) a bristle section 20 comprising bristles 22 secured between said two mutually-twisted together wire segments 12, wherein the bristles 22 flare outwardly in various directions from the core section, at least a portion of the bristles 22 end in a tapered end section 30, and the bristles 22 have an outer portion 24 made of a first, softer material and an inner portion 26 made of a second, harder material and wherein the cross-sections 28 of the bristles 22 vary in shape lengthwise along the bristle. The present invention also relates to a dispenser comprising said cosmetic and healthcare brush.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a cosmetic applicator brush comprising a plurality of discs assembled relative to one another with each disc having a body with a plurality of bristles or combs extending radially therefrom, a conical, and a plurality of wires, where the plurality of wires pass through a wire passage of each of the plurality of discs, and the plurality of discs are stacked or linked without any angular offset or with a uniform angular offset so that alignment of bristles for the stacked discs is uniform. The conical is injection molded with the plurality of wires, and a top portion of the cosmetic applicator brush has the conical. After the plurality of discs are stacked or linked, the plurality of wires are twisted at a bottom portion of the cosmetic applicator brush so that the discs are securely linked or stacked.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an applicator for applying a cosmetic, makeup or care, product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, having an applicator member (8) comprising: - a core (10) that extends along a longitudinal axis (X), and, carried by the core, - longitudinal rows (17, 19) of islets (15, 16) of spikes (18) that are separated by areas (14) free of spikes, wherein, in said applicator, the islets (15, 16) of spikes (18) comprise a series of spikes in the longitudinal direction and a series of spikes in the circumferential direction
Abstract:
Implementations described herein include an assembly for applying a beauty product to an integument. The assembly may include a handle portion and an applicator portion. The handle portion may be suitably dimensioned to permit the applicator to be held between the thumb and at least one finger on opposing faces thereof. The opposing faces may be of sufficient width relative to the thickness separating the faces to allow rotation of the handle when held between the thumb and fingers. The applicator portion includes at its distal end at least one transfer element comprising a textured surface for holding and transferring a charge of beauty product to an integument in contact therewith. The at least one transfer element may extend substantially across the width of the applicator portion and in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal axis of the handle. The longitudinal axis of the applicator portion may be oriented, or can be rotatable to be oriented, at an obtuse angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the handle.
Abstract:
A cosmetic applicator assembly includes a handle body having a proximal end, a distal end, a largest width or diameter of from 0.4 inches to 1.25 inches, and an exterior surface, an elevated feature disposed along the exterior surface and extending from 0.007 inches to 0.020 inches above the exterior surface, and a cosmetic applicator coupled to the distal end of the handle body and constructed to apply a cosmetic. The handle body includes a handle body material. The elevated feature include an elevated feature material, wherein the elevated feature material has a kinetic coefficient of friction of greater than or equal to 0.55 and a hardness of less than or equal to Shore A 70, and a hardness that is less than the hardness of the handle body material.
Abstract:
There is provided a cosmetic applicator (1) comprising a support (2) defining a longitudinal axis (2a), a main plane (2b), perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (2a) and a transversal axis (2c) slanted with respect to the longitudinal axis (2a), and a movable body (3) compliantly constrained to the support (2), wherein said movable body (3) is rotatable with respect to the support (2) about the transversal axis (1c) and comprises at least one application tip (4).
Abstract:
An expandable applicator system for applying a product to a surface. The expandable applicator system may include an expandable implement including a brush and an expandable tip. The expandable tip may be configured to move between a first unexpanded state and a second expanded state. A cap may be coupled to the expandable implement. Actuation of a mechanism at or near the cap move the expandable tip of the implement from a deflated state to an inflated state.
Abstract:
An application system is provided for application of cosmetics and related products. The application system includes a container, a cap, an applicator and a fitment tube. The fitment tube is attached to the neck of the container and the applicator is inserted into the container through it. An upper section of the fitment tube has a continuous and impermeable wall and extends into the container. Embodiments of the fitment tube may have a lower section which can contact the bottom of the container. The lower section of the fitment tube may have a wide range of configurations designed to allow fluid communication between the applicator and the interior volume of the container outside of the fitment tube. The application system can be designed to allow removal of the applicator from the container and fitment tube with minimal disruption of product that is loaded on the applicator.
Abstract:
