Abstract:
A file cabinet providing access to files from substantially all sides, and having one or more rotatable tiers, each tier containing a plurality of file containers. Each tier includes a central carrousel support having a plurality of radially extending arms. Mounted to the outer terminus of each arm is a file support assembly, each configured to rotate about a vertical axis between a retracted position and an extended position. Each file support assembly is adapted to suspend a file container thereon to provide detachable storage. The detachable file containers each include a box having an upper frame which suspends the container from the file support assemblies. A top may provided to close each container in a secure manner to protect the container's contents.
Abstract:
A pull down tray assembly where the trays remain parallel to the ground in the open position, closed position, and positions in transit between the open and closed position is disclosed which allows an individual to access items on the pull down tray assembly without the need for external means and allows the trays to be cleaned easily.
Abstract:
Abstract:
An alignment system and method including a frame having an axle connected thereto. Fingers rotatably coupled to the axle independently rotate thereabout. A counterweight affixed to the frame prevents the frame from turning over. When an object is inserted into the alignment system corresponding fingers are moved toward a substantially vertical position. When the object is removed gravity causes the corresponding fingers to return to an extended position to restrict the movement of adjacent objects into the unoccupied space and preserve the unoccupied space for return of the object. The objects remaining in the alignment system are held in an upright manner. Such retention of objects in an upright manner preserves the integrity of delicate objects such as rare books and reduces the tendency of objects to fall in the event of a ground shock.
Abstract:
Filing cabinet for documents, characterized thereby that it mainly consists of a combination of a cabinet (1) with vertical drawers (2) each of which is subdivided in compartments (3-8) and a lifting mechanism that can move said drawers (2) up and down one by one, and means which successively can make and interrupt a junction between said lifting mechanism and a drawer (2).
Abstract:
A file storage device (100), including a base member (2), and a plurality of dividing members (4) detachably attached to the base member (2) in a substantially parallel configuration, adjacent dividing members (4) defining storage areas therebetween (1), the storage areas (1) having preselected widths, wherein removal or addition of at least one dividing member (4) allows for variation of the preselected widths.

Abstract:
A mail delivery system including a plurality of portable trays (10) each tray having a bottom (11), an open top, at least two rigid oppositely disposed sides (12) affixed to the bottom, at least one open side (13), a gate member (31) to open and close the open side. Separators (16) removably attached to at least the bottom. Regularly spaced slots (21) within the bottom to receive the separators. At least one set of handle members (25) to assist in the transportation of the portable tray and to assist in the withdrawal or insertion of the portable tray from holder members (67) arranged to receive the tray. A tray case (60) containing a plurality of holder members to removably receive a plurality of the portable trays, members (70) for raising and lowering the case and the trays from a loading position to a sorting position. A transport member (100) containing a plurality of holder members to receive the portable trays and transport the portable trays from the tray cases to a tray rack (206) in a delivery vehicle (200).
