Abstract:
The bedpan liner includes multiple planar flexible layers of material with an underliner layer underlying a top layer. The underliner layer is substantially waterproof and the top layer is porous and preferably soft. An absorbent medium can be interposed between the top layer and the underliner layer, preferably confined to a central portion of the liner. A perimeter of the bedpan liner includes a drawstring associated therewith for gathering of the perimeter together after patient elimination thereon. In use, the bedpan liner is placed over a bedpan with central portions thereof tucked into a cavity of the bedpan and perimeter portions of the liner upon a structure on which the bedpan rests. A patient then eliminates waste into the bedpan and upon the liner. The drawstring of the liner is then pulled tight to capture the patient waste therein and the liner is removed from the bedpan.
Abstract:
The TOI-BLANKET is a toilet foil wherewith the user can fully separate himself from a toilet during use to prevent physical contact. The equipment consists of four main parts: • Part 1 : a seat surface, • Part 2: an outer apron that covers a front of a bowl and is connected to the seat surface, • Part 3: an inner apron that prevents inside contact and is also connected to the seat surface, • Part 4: a "fixing mechanism" that is a folding-back mechanism, which can be hooked on a lower frontal portion of a bowl and under a back of a toilet seat. In an alternative, the fixing mechanism is an adhesive line, which is on the back side of the seat surface in order to fix the foil to a toilet. The whole foil is made of plastic which melts fully in water after use. The toilet foil TOI-BLANKET is compact as a finished product when it is folded and packed, so that it can be easily sold from vending machines.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a mixed portable toilet that is practical, lightweight, strong, convenient and hygienic, which performs multiple functions as part of the complete treatment process for depositing, collecting and recycling organic human waste without requiring the use of potable water in under-developed regions with no water supply or sewage infrastructure. The collection process operates by means of the simple ordered handling of human waste with biodegradable and/or plastic bags that are transported using a simple collection case or container and/or collection dump trucks to the industrial and/or natural recycling site. The natural bulk recycling process uses medium or large well-structured backfill in order to make use of excrement and urine as a fertiliser for orchards, since there is nothing better or more cost effective than the natural brilliance of the roots of trees and other plant species for recycling human and animal urine and excrement and obtaining nutrients therefrom. The industrial recycling process uses processing plants to process solid and liquid organic waste, which, using the methane gas from the excrement, produce electricity and biogas for the community and, in addition, the waste from said excrement and urine is used to produce granular fertilisers for all types of agricultural crops.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a disposable tubular inner cover for toilets and the like, comprising a horizontal rectangle of material such as oilskin paper, characterised in that it can be adapted to the shape of a sanitary bowl or the like. In order to achieve the aim of the invention, said rectangle has a plurality of triangular cut-outs of the same size combined with diamond sections of two different sizes, the smallest covering the inner part of the bowl around the side, while the two biggest ones, called flanges, cover the inner central front part and inner rear part of the bowl. Said cover also contains a ring-covering strip connected to the tubular cover and housing a ring of plastic-type material that works as a spring, fitting the cover to the inner wall of the bowl. Said cover also has a plurality of rectangular cut-outs coinciding with sanitary secondary water discharges of the sanitary element such that the water can be released and the inside of the bowl cleaned. A first lining covers the bowl discharge region. A second lining covers the inner upper edge of the sanitary element, while a third lining covers the seat of the sanitary element, the rest of the rectangle surrounding the front part of the sanitary element. The cover according to the invention also comprises an elastic covering strip that, when fitted along the rear part, nests inside the bowl cover. The rear cut-out of the cover is perfectly fitted to the rear part of the bowl.
Abstract:
A hygienic container of human biological waste suitable for being placed inside a toilet, comprising a bag-shaped containing part (1 ) suitable for placing inside the toilet in order to contain the biological waste, a permeable part (2) extending from the edge of the containing part (1 ) and complete with means for the passage of air and water (4,5), and anchoring means (3) foldable outwards with respect to the containing part (1), extending from the free edge of the permeable part (2). The anchoring means (3) are fit for placing over the upper rim of the toilet and supporting the containing part (1) due to the effect of the weight of the body of a user sitting on said upper rim.
