Abstract:
The massage device with USB charging ability is designed to massage especially the wrists in the area of the carpal tunnel, but can also be used to massage other parts of the body. The device consists of an upper (la) and a lower lid (lb) forming a casing in which there is at least one vibration electric motor (10.11) located with an excenter, which allows at least one level of massage strength, wherein the level of the massage strength is defined according to the number of revolutions of the vibration electric motor (10, 11); a power supply (12) that is a battery or an accumulator; a main switch (8) for turning the device on and off; a switch (9) for selecting the massage strength, i.e. the number of revolutions of the vibration electric motor (10, 11) and by pressing the switch (9) or moving it, the selection of the first or second position is enabled, the first position meaning that a weaker massage strength is activated, i.e., a lower number of revolutions of the vibration electric motor (10, 11), and the second position meaning that a stronger massage strength is activated, i.e. a higher number of revolutions of the vibration electric motor (10, 11); a connector (3) for connecting to the USB port for charging the massage device and a logical control circuit (13) that controls the operation of the device and, according to the selected position of the switch (9), determines the number of revolutions of the vibration electric motor (10, 11) and thus the level of the massage and, if necessary, the duration of the massage.
Abstract:
A method for gathering information relating to the use of a continuous passive motion device can comprise receiving usage information from a continuous passive motion device processing unit. The usage information can comprise at least one duration of time that the continuous passive motion device was used. The method can also comprise storing the usage information such that the usage information is available within a historical dataset. Additionally, the method can comprise displaying at least a portion of the usage information from the historical dataset on a graphical user interface
Abstract:
The disclosure includes a maxillofacial rehabilitation device, comprising a frame and a dynamic actuation mechanism coupled to the frame. The frame can be configured to attach the device to the head of a user. The dynamic actuation mechanism can be configured to contact the mandible of the user, receive control signals from a controller, and move the mandible of the user in the sagittal plane and the vertical plane based on the control signals.
Abstract:
A sexual wellness device comprising: a pillow formed from a flexible material defining an inner volume and having an opening at an end; and a socket formed from an inflexible material having in a first predetermined location a fitting onto which the open end of the pillow mounts, a pressure sensor fluidically coupled to the fitting, a controller electrically coupled to the pressure sensor, and a battery electrically connected to at least the controller.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for cardiopulmonary resuscitation feedback are disclosed. According to an aspect, a method includes determining a force. The method also includes, in response to determining the force, acquiring spatial orientation data, remove the effects of gravity, and wirelessly or wired method of communicating the spatial orientation data.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a portable compression device (10) for selectively applying a compressive force to a limb of a user (50). The device includes one or more inflatable bladders (18, 20, 22) and a pumping means (24, 26, 28) for selectively inflating and deflating each bladder thereby selectively applying an inwardly directed compressive force to the limb. The one or more inflatable bladders and the pumping means are disposed on a base assembly (12).
Abstract:
A pool or spa control system includes, a main control panel housing a motherboard, relay bank, and local terminal. The motherboard includes a processor in two-way communication with a relay bank socket via an internal bus. The relay bank is connectable to the relay bank socket and includes a processor, memory, plurality of relays, connector, and an internal bus establishing two-way communication between the relay bank processor and the motherboard processor when the relay bank is connected to the relay bank socket. The local terminal includes a control processor, user interface, and memory, and is in two- way communication with the motherboard processor for allowing user control of the system. The control processor automatically discovers and assigns the relay bank a network address upon connection of the relay bank to the motherboard relay bank socket, and the relay bank returns relay bank parameter information, which the local terminal stores in memory.
Abstract:
Various embodiments described herein provide a mechanism for transducing transverse vibrational energy into an elastic body of a sexual stimulation device by directly driving the transverse modes of vibration of the elastic body. Additionally, by using an actuator that transduces a force that is proportional to the input current or voltage, the vibration may be driven with any arbitrary waveform.
