Abstract:
The invention relates to a swing (1) comprising a seat section (10) having a recessed structure towards the inner part (103) and made of an elastic material with damping characteristics; a seat section (10) having a double walled impact surface (100); and a body (11) in which said seat section (10) is positioned and fixed.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A stand-on swing for suspension from a playset structure includes a platform member presenting an upper surface on which the user may stand. The swing also includes a pair of elongated, rigid suspension bars each presenting upper and lower ends. The bars are pivotally connectable to the structure adjacent the upper ends so as to depend therefrom, with the lower ends being spaced from the ground. The swing further includes a pair of lower pivot joints pivotally connecting the suspension bars to the platform member adjacent the lower ends thereof, with the platform member and bars being swingable in a fore-and-aft direction. The bars are bowed so as to present intermediate sections that are spaced further apart than the upper and lower ends. Further, the bars terminate above or generally at the platform member so that the lower ends are prevented from being spaced substantially downward beyond the platform member.
Abstract:
Playground device, for example a swing or a see saw, having a ground supported, movable part and at least one motion sensor configured for sensing the motion of the movable part. The motion sensor is functionally connected to a sound signal feedback generator that is configured for converting the signals from the motion sensor into a sound feedback in response to the motion of the movable part. The sensors are mechanically connected only to the movable part in order to provide system with a large number of variations of embodiments.
Abstract:
An amusement park includes a plurality of rides, each ride being provided with car support mechanisms. Each car support mechanism is configured to receive and support an automotive vehicle filled with at least one passenger. Further, a cable driver ride includes at least one carriage configured to receive and support a motorized passenger vehicle filled with at least one passenger and move with a cable as the cable is moved between at least one terminal and a tower, the cable extending therebetween.
Abstract:
The play structure of the present invention is a portable, easily assembled structure that may be assembled in a variety of configurations. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is particularly suited to use by small children. The play structure includes a first ladder portion removably mounted on to four leg members and a second ladder portion connected to the climbable structure to create a secondary play element, together with a cover and platform elements that can be used to create a variable, modular play structure.
Abstract:
There is provided a system for providing interactivity to a guest of an experiential venue, based on sensor measurement of the guest. The system comprises a sensor configured to sense a guest variable of the guest, where the sensor may be a biometric sensor, a facial recognition sensor, a voice stress analysis sensor, a gesture recognition sensor, a motion tracking sensor, or an eye tracking sensor, and may sense heart rate or another guest variable. The system also comprises a control system, which may be implemented as a computer, in communication with the sensor. The control system is configured to determine a guest state from the guest variable, and to modify a venue variable, for example by selecting a path a theme park ride follows. The control system modifies the venue variable according to the guest state to provide increased satisfaction to the guest of the experiential venue.
