Abstract:
A filtration system (20) is disclosed comprising a filter manifold (100) and a filter cartridge (200). The filter cartridge (200) comprises a cartridge body (202) comprising a flow axis (201) and an installation direction orthogonal to the flow axis, a first cartridge port (210) oriented parallel to the flow axis (201) at a first cartridge end (211), the first cartridge port (210) comprising a first extending portion (230) moveable with respect to the cartridge body (202) along the flow axis (201) to a cartridge loading position (234) and a cartridge service position (236), and a second cartridge port (220) oriented parallel to the flow axis (201) at a second cartridge end (221). The filter manifold (100) comprises a first manifold port (110) to fluidly connect to the first cartridge port (210) along the flow axis (201) when the first extending portion (230) is in the cartridge service position (236), and a second manifold port (120) to fluidly connect to the second cartridge port (220).
Abstract:
A filter for fluids (10) comprising a hollow body (11) which is closed by a head (13) and contains at least one filtering medium (12). The head (13) is crossed by a through manifold (15) whose ends can be connected to respective primary branches of a hydraulic circuit and from which there branch out at least one connecting duct (22), for connection to the at least one filtering medium (12),at least two connecting ducts (23, 24) for connection to the free regions of the inside of the hollow body (11), and a connecting duct which leads outwards. The latter duct runs from the region where one of the preceding connecting ducts leads into the manifold (15) and can be connected to a resepctive secondary branch of the hydraulic circuit. At least the outlets into the manifold of the at least two connecting ducts (23, 24) which lead to the hollow body (11) are controlled by respective flow diverter valves (26a, 26b, 26c).
Abstract:
The present application relates to apparatus for mounting on a rotatable portion (7; 7') of a diesel filter (1; 1') for controlling a drainage valve. The apparatus comprises an outlet (19; 19') for draining liquid from the diesel filter (1; 1'), mounting means (23; 23') for fixedly mounting the apparatus on the rotatable portion (7; 7'), and a manipulation portion (13; 13') for manipulation by a user's hand which projects, at least in part, radially outward from said rotatable portion, in use. The application also relates to a finger grip wheel (13; 13') for a diesel filter (1; 1'). The finger grip wheel (13; 13') has a drainage outlet (19; 19') and at least one finger detent (17; 17') for accommodating a tip of a user's finger to facilitate rotation of the finger grip wheel (13; 13').
Abstract:
A filter for fluids of the type that comprises a hollow body which is closed by a head (12) and contains at least one filtration medium (13), the head comprising a hollow external cap in which through holes (15, 16, 17) are formed which are suitable to connect a corresponding number of ducts and in which a distribution element (18) with through channels can rotate. In the external dome there are at least three through holes (15, 16, 17) and the distribution element (18) is shaped so as to form at least four channels (19, 20, 21, 22): at least one first channel (19), which is a through channel which lies at right angles to this axis of rotation; at least one second channel (20) which has an exit port at an internal regional of the at least one filtration medium; at least one third channel (21) which has an exit port at a corresponding region which lies outside the at least one filtration medium; at least one fourth channel (22) which has the same configuration as one of the three preceding ones; the channels being suitable to arrange themselves in present combinations which are determined by the relative position of the dome and the distribution element, in connection with respective holes of the at least three through holes.
Abstract:
A filter assembly primarily intended for use in fluid analyzer systems for particulate or coalescing filtration of fluids includes a filter assembly (12) having a base element (11) with all port openings (35-37) in the base and with the port openings arranged so that the assembly can be mounted in a variety of selected positions.
