Abstract: Disclosed is a roller for applying a coating agent, especially a paint roller, which has a carrying handle (11). Said carrying handle (11) supports a curved roller axle (18) on which at least one applicator roll (17) is rotatably mounted. According to the invention, the roller axis (18) can be adjusted in its curvature by means of an adjustment device (14) and is then fixed in the respective adjusted curved alignment. This ensures that a coating agent can be evenly, simply applied to even as well as uneven surfaces.

Abstract: A corner painting tool (10, 110), typically comprising at least four replaceable rollers (17) pivotally attached to a handle (15, 115), that provides for the painting of the two adjoining surfaces forming a typical 90° interior corner in an even and efficient manner. Each pair of rollers (17) is detachably attached to one of two axle-bearing elements (11) that are, in turn, rigidly affixed at opposite ends of a connector bar (12). The fixed relationship between the connector bar (12) and the axle-bearing elements (11) serves to position each pair of rollers (17) at a 90° angle to the other. The handle (15, 115) is pivotally attached at the midpoint of the connector bar (12). Attachment at the bar's midpoint serves to locate the pivot point as close as possible to the inside corner formed by the rollers (17), thereby maximizing the stability of the overall assembly during use. The pivoting connection provides a user with the flexibility of operation needed to reliably move the painting tool (10, 110) along an interior corner surface from virtually any location between the adjoining surfaces.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for securing an edge of a paintless type film gore. A fluid sealant material is beaded along the edge of the gore using a bead striping apparatus. The striping apparatus comprises a serrated wheel rotatably coupled to a housing which contains the fluid sealant. The sealant is transferred to the wheel and subsequently is transferred the gore edge as the wheel is rolled.
