Abstract:
An attachment for a hand cutting tool having at least one rotating blade, the attachment including a portable device attachable to the hand cutting tool for producing a fog-like spray of water droplets near the rotating blade for moistening dust particles generated during cutting, and a hand tool including such an attachment. Preferably, the attachment includes a blade guard arranged to partially cover the rotating blade, a portable source of pressurized water which can be carried on the body of a user holding the cutting tool, and at least one nozzle mounted in the blade guard and coupled to the source of pressurized water for producing a fog-like spray of water droplets.
Abstract:
A hand-held water drill system (10) including a drill (110) coupled to a shank (310) to transmit torque to a drill bit (130). A solution delivery device (120) substantially surrounding the shank (310) provides solution to the drill bit (130). The shank (310) freely rotates within the solution delivery device (120). The solution delivery device (120) includes a handle (230) having a channel (245). A solution delivery control (220) is provided to operate the valve (235) to allow flow control of the solution to the drill bit (130) distal end while allowing the user to maintain a grip on the handle (230). Additionally, the solution delivery device (120) is positioned and constructed to provide improved control of the position of the drill bit (130) during use.

Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a core drilling machine (100). The core drilling machine (100) includes a front housing part (102) including a protruding nose. The drilling machine (100) includes a front handle assembly (118) and an output drive shaft (110) projecting outward from the protruding nose. A fluid attachment ring (120) is rotably arranged around the protruding nose. Further, the front handle assembly (118) is arranged around the protruding nose.
Abstract:
A drilling attachment (10) for use in wet and dry drilling operations includes a housing (12) having first (14) and second (16) fluid conduits, and a drive shaft (18) mounted within the housing (12) and having fluid transmitting first (22) and second (24) end portions in fluid communication with a respective first (14) and second (16) fluid conduit. In one embodiment, at any time one end of the drive shaft is coupled to a drive unit and the other end of the drive shaft is coupled to a core drill bit (46, 62, 68, 88, 110). In a dry drilling operation, dust is extracted from the core of the drill bit, is passed through the drive shaft (18) and exits the housing via one of the fluid conduits (14). In a wet drilling operation, fluid such as water is passed through the other of the fluid conduits (16), through the drive shaft (18) and into the core of the drill bit.
