Abstract:
A machine (1) for processing polymer materials has a rotor (2) rotatable around an axis of rotation (A); a stator (3) slidxngly and sealingly coupled with the rotor (2); at least one circumferential recess (7) which extends by an angle of less than 360° into the stator (3) and forms with the rotor (2) a processing channel (8) of the polymer material; at least one inlet channel (11) for feeding the polymer material to the processing channel (8); and an outlet channel (12) for evacuating the polymer material from the processing channel (8).
Abstract:
A dust-free rubber mixer not discharging, into a working room, contaminants such as dirt produced by a rubber mixer, comprising a rubber mixing part having a plurality of rubber mixing rolls and a drive part having a motor, wherein those parts other than the rubber mixing rolls are all covered by a casing, an air inlet is provided in the casing around the rotating shaft of the rubber mixing rolls, an exhaust duct is provided on the casing, and an intake means to reduce a pressure inside the casing to negative is installed onto the exhaust duct.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for continuously and efficiently making a PTFE sheet, wherein a sheet of compressed powder (110) of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) containing a lubricant is stretched while passing (120) between a pair of running belts, which form a gap being narrower downstream. Further, provided is an apparatus for granulating and kneading PTFE powder, which comprises a pair of plastic belts (4, 7), between which lubricated PTFE powder material is supplied. The two belts run at different speeds and at least one of the belts is vibrated laterally so that the powder may be sent obliquely to the longitudinal direction. As a result the powder is granulated under pressures between the belts.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a thermoplastic elastomer material in the form of a mixture of one or more thermoplastics and one or more crosslinked rubbers. Said mixture contains the following constituents: one or more thermoplastics for 10-90 %, one or several non-crosslinked rubbers, a crosslinking activator, a crosslinking agent, possibly other additives. Said process involves the use of a roll system characterized by the following process steps: the thermoplastic(s) and /or the non-crosslinked rubber(s) are introduced into the roll system through the feeding opening in the absence of the crosslinking agent and are subsequently melted and dispersed with formation of a homogenous mixture; the homogenous mixture is conveyed in the roll elements at the same time as the crosslinking agent is delivered to a transition area in the roll elements; the mixture provided with the crosslinking agent is dispersed and homogenized at the same time as vulcanization at high extension rates with formation of the thermoplastic elastomer material. The calendered surface amounts to ≥ 75m2 thermoplastic elastomer per kilo in relation to the totality of roll elements. Another variation of the method is also disclosed.
