Abstract:
The invention relates to a light signal, particularly for railway security systems, with an LED signal transmitter (1). In order to achieve universal applicability of the LED signal transmitter (1) for the most varied operating conditions, according to the invention, a program interface (2) is provided for pre-setting parameters for the LED signal transmitter (1).
Abstract:
A railroad crossing warning system includes a beam emitter for generating a focused beam of energy, and a receiver for receiving the focused beam of energy. A pair of weatherproof housings secures the emitter and receiver diagonally at a railroad intersection. A base station is communicatively linked to the beam emitter and the receiver, and a base station communication unit transmits an obstruction warning to an approaching train.

Die Erfindung betrifft des Weiteren eine Steuereinrichtung zum Ansteuern eines einer Weiche (1) zugeordneten Weichenlage- und Ordnungsmelders.
Abstract:
A railroad switch indicator, that operates independently of the mechanism for operating the switch, for signaling the position of the switchpoints via a flexible mechanical cable connected to a railroad switch amplifier mechanism. The railroad switch amplifier mechanism has linkage members attached to a crossbar connecting inner stockrails and to a pivoted lever arm, the output arm of which is attached to the mechanical cable. The flexible mechanical cable allows the railroad switch indicator to be positioned remotely from the switchpoints and switch amplifier mechanism in a highly visible and easily serviced location.
Abstract:
A self electricity-generating roadside lamp that generates electricity using a flywheel (21) and suction effect. The present roadside lamp adds a swing device powered by suction force and a flywheel electricity generation device to a roadside lamp along a railroad. When a high speed train passes, the air current between the train and the swing device accelerates and the pressure reduces, thereby causing a suction force onto a suction panel (11) and causing the swing device to swing toward the train; the swing force causes the flywheel electricity generation device to store energy and simultaneously generate electricity; the electricity generated is provided to the roadside lamps ahead of the train to emit light for illumination. The suction force generated when a high speed train travels enables the generation of stable and environmentally friendly electricity and the provision of said electricity to railroad roadside lamps for illumination. The disadvantage of electricity instability of wind and solar powered roadside lamps is avoided. The electricity resources of the public grid are also conserved. A flywheel is used to store the power generated, thereby replacing batteries for electricity storage, avoiding the environmental pollution caused by chemical batteries, and avoiding the disadvantages of chemical batteries having short service life and requiring constant maintenance.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for actuating a track-switch position and orientation signaling system (2) which is assigned to a switch (1) and by means of which the operational processes related to the use of track-switch position and orientation signaling systems can be further improved. According to the invention, this is achieved by carrying out the method such that an operation is detected by means of an operating device, and lighting elements (6) of at least one signal emitter (4) of the track-switch position and orientation signaling system (2) are actuated in response to the detection of the operation such that state information (7) related to the switch (1) is displayed by means of the lighting elements (6). The invention further relates to an actuating device for actuating a track-switch position and orientation signaling system assigned to a switch (1).
