A disposable refill ampule includes a hollow plastic body containing a liquid-filled reservoir sealed therein. The plastic body has a needle-nose projection extending outwardly from the plastic body. The projection is sealed on a distal end of the projection so that liquid is sealed inside the body and the projection. A connector is fixed to the projection near the distal end of the projection where it is adapted to be snapped off between the distal end and the connector to make the liquid available.

The strip (1) of vials for fluid products, particularly for medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food products or the like, comprises a plurality of vials (2), each of which comprises: - a containment body (4) for an injectable fluid product having an elongated direction (D); - a first end (4a) able to define a dispensing mouth (5) of the fluid product; and - a second end (4b) opposite the first end (4a); wherein the containment bodies (4) are made in a single monolithic body made of a first material and are joined together along the weakened-section connection lines (3), and wherein said dispensing mouths (5) consist of a stopper (24) made of a second penetrable material able to be crossed by a drawing element for drawing the fluid product.

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von Glasflaschchen, insbesondere von Pharmafläschchen oder Pharmaampullen, aus einem Glasrohr angegeben, das die folgenden Schritte aufweist: (a) Rotieren des Glasrohrs (10) um seine Längsachse (12); (b) Lokales Aufheizen des Glasrohrs (10) mittels mindestens eines Brenners von einer Seite bis mindestens auf die Erweichungstemperatur (Ew) des Glases; (c) Durchmesserreduzierung durch seitliches Andrücken mindestens eines Formteils (28a) auf den erhitzten Bereich (16) und (d) Trennen des Glasrohrs mittels eines Brenners (14). Ein solchermaßen hergestelltes Glasflaschchen weist eine reduzierte Alkalifreisetzung gemäß ISO 4802 und eine verringerte Delaminationsneigung auf. Außerdem ist im heißverformten Randbereich der Alkaligehalt nur geringfügig gegenüber dem Alkaligehalt im Glasinneren reduziert.

The invention provides a packaging for a container (2) filled with a liquid pharmaceutical product and comprising a head (4) and a body (3) both made from a single piece and a neck portion (5) configured to form a frangible junction (6) between said head (4) and said body (3), said packaging (11) being made from plastic material and comprising two layers (12, 13) between which is defined a cavity (18) configured to receive said container (2); wherein said packaging (11) is a unitary packaging which is configured to receive one container (2) and comprises a foldable portion (24) configured so that an upper portion (32) of said packaging (11) which is configured to receive said head (4) of said container (2) folds when said head (4) is submitted to a determined load, an access portion (27) provided at least around a part of said upper portion (32) and being remote to said foldable portion (24) and a protective portion (28) configured between said access portion (27) and said foldable portion (24); so that when said head (4) of said container (2) is broken due to said determined load, said foldable portion (24) is configured to be folded, said access portion (27) is configured to give free access to said liquid pharmaceutical product in said body (3) and said protective portion (28) is configured to protect the access to the broken neck portion (5) of said container.

A method for opening an ampoule includes moving the ampoule in a first direction along a central longitudinal axis, directing the head of the ampoule laterally and/or obliquely away from the central longitudinal axis to break the head of the ampoule from the body of the ampoule when the ampoule is moved in the first direction, removing material from the body of the ampoule, and removing liquid from the head of the ampoule.
