摘要: A bulk material storage container assembly for storing and unloading particulate material includes a storage vessel adapted to hold particulate material. A discharge port is in fluid communication with the storage vessel and with a discharge port outlet. The discharge port is also sized and shaped to facilitate bridging of particulate material. A shaft is mounted within the storage vessel adjacent to the discharge port and adapted for reciprocal movement with respect to the discharge port. A rake is mounted on said shaft and adapted to disaggregate particulate material that has bridged proximate the discharge port as the shaft is reciprocated with respect to the discharge port.

摘要: A hopper assembly for feeding granular material, such as pharmaceutical powder, includes a hopper having an upper inlet and a lower outlet defining a substantially vertical center axis, and a flow controller/enhancer disposed in the hopper adjacent the outlet The flow controller/enhancer includes a deflector element disposed in the hopper above the outlet. The deflector element is of generally conical shape with an apex thereof directed upwardly in substantial alignment with the vertical center axis. An outer peripheral edge of the deflector element is spaced inwardly from an inner surface of the hopper to define a space therebetween where gravitating granular material deflected outwardly by the deflector element flows downwardly past the deflector element toward the outlet.

摘要: A wall lining system (22) is disclosed comprising a flexible liner (18) and a fixing system (20) for fixing the liner (18) to a wall (12) of a piece of materials handling equipment (10). The fixing system (20) divides the liner (18) into a plurality of fixed areas (30) and free areas (32) and each free area (32) of the liner (18) is able to move away from the wall (12) to vary the surface profile of the liner (18) in response to the delivery of fluid to one or more of the free areas (32) between the liner (18) and the wall (12). The liner (18) is positioned either between the fixing system (20) and the wall (12) or on top of the fixing system (20).
