Abstract: The bidirectional rotatable matter-fetching machine according to the invention belongs to a kind of material stacking-reclaiming machine with bucket wheel in the field of hoisting and conveying machinery. It can be applicable to the transportation of coal, ore and other bulk material. The prior material stacking-reclaiming machines, which are widely used in harbors, mines, steel plants and large stockyards, have the following disadvantages: the production efficiency is low but the power consumption is high, one fourth electric power of the total power is wattless; since the reclaimer head assembly is installed laterally at one side of the cantilever belt conveyer, it has to bear torsion during operation, and its manufacture becomes very difficult owing to its heavy deadweight; the establishing of foundation should be costly and time-consuming since the wheelpressure is too great. The bidirectional rotatable matter-fetching machine of the invention is provided with a bucket under which a fluid motor is fixed, it is directly driven by the output shaft of the fluid motor, and the output shaft is connected with the center of the matter-fetching machine, so the fluid motor, the bucket and the matter-fetching machine become one piece. The invention has raised conveying efficiency and reduced power consumption, can achieve both matter-stacking and matter-fetching, improve the forced condition of the cantilever belt conveyer by the center line of the matter-fetching machine superposing over that of the cantilever belt conveyer, thus can make its manufacture easy and save much of natural resources.
