摘要： In order to wind up webs of paper or card (1), winding machines with rollers are known which have a hollow-cylindrical support body (7) which is made of a rigid material and to the casing of which a deformable layer is applied. According to the invention, the deformable layer (9) consists of a cellular plastics material having a plurality of uniformly distributed pores of which the pore size is less than 5 mm, preferably between 0.05 mm and 1 mm. The compression modulus k of the material is less than 10 MPa. The roller according to the invention is preferably used in winding machines as a support roller (5) or pressure roller (6).
