Abstract:
A multi configurations crane system comprises a crane base having a main boom pivot structure adapted to secure thereto a main boom of the crane and providing a horizontal main boom pivot axis for the main boom relative to the crane base. A main boom system is adapted to provide multiple main boom configurations and comprises: - a lower main boom section having a first end connectable to said main boom pivot structure of the crane base to allow for luffing of the main boom in a luffing plane, and a second end opposite said first end, - a top main boom section adapted to suspend a load from the main boom, e.g. comprising an assembly of one or more sheaves for one or more winch driven cables from which said load is suspended, - multiple lattice insert sections adapted to be inserted as a single strand of multiple of said lattice insert sections in said main boom.
Abstract:
According to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a levelling system for a lifting apparatus for lifting a person to a preferred position, which lifting apparatus comprises an extension arrangement, a platform which is pivotally connected to an end region of the extension arrangement, a support member which is pivotally connected to an opposing end region of the extension arrangement for supporting the extension arrangement and platform clear of the ground, and a displacement means for displacing the extension arrangement and with it, the platform relative the support member, the levelling system including an actuating means arranged in communication with the displacement means for actuating and maintaining the platform in a substantially horizontal orientation during operation of the displacement means when a user is on the platform.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A lift crane includes a carbody and movable ground engaging members mounted on the carbody. A rotating bed is rotatably connected to the carbody and includes a counterweight support frame including a rack coupled directly to a lower surface of the rotating bed. A boom is pivotally mounted to the rotating bed. A counterweight unit movement device is configured to move the counterweight unit toward and away from the boom. At least one auxiliary member includes a counterweight pad that is configured to not touch the ground during a pick, move, and set operation. A linear actuator is configured to adjust a distance that the counterweight pad is above the ground.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a ring lift crane, comprising a liftable ring which has several segments which can be joined to each other and forms a circular track within which a standardized lower bogie is positioned. Said lower bogie has a standardised upper bogie which is connected to same in a rotating manner and presents several winches, and two uprights which are positioned parallel and at a distance to each other and at two opposite end areas have one adapter each and are connected by bolting/unbolting to the upper bogie by means of cross-bars. By means of rollers arranged in the end area of the adapters said adapters rest in a rolling manner on the circular track of the ring. The centre of the ring or lower bogie forms the axis of rotation. One of the adapters is configured for receiving a counter-weight and the other adapter is configured for supporting an articulated boom. Means are provided for which allow for the generation of the rotating movement of the ring lift crane. The lower bogie is joined to various sections of the ring by means of reinforcing bars. To move the crane into different operating modes the uprights (17, 17') can be lifted in relation to the base apparatus and joined in different manners to the cross-bars (26, 27) in a non-positive fit. In the initial position the positive fit between the uprights (17, 17') and the cross-bars (26, 27) presents a predeterminable play (79, 79'). To permit the rotating movement of the crane gantry the invention provides for several trolleys (18) of identical structure which have two axles and wheels fixed to same. The trolleys can be connected in a positive fit with both the uprights (17, 17') and the ring or a ring segment (20a, 20e).
