Abstract: A cargo bracing device includes a body, a tube fixed to the body and a rack passing the body and partly fitted over the inner side of the tube. A handle and a position claw is hinged to the body by the main pivot. A drive claw is hinged to the handle by the slave pivot. There is a leaf spring provided between the drive claw and the position claw. The upper side of the body has a movable stopper piece pressed on the leaf spring. Against the force of the leaf spring, the front ends of the drive claw and the position claw are inserted into the teeth of the rack. A stopper pin is fixed on the said handle. The stopper pin is on the edge facing the rack when the front end of the position claw is inserted into the teeth of the rack.
