Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of preparing rubber-modified styrene copolymer resin with excellent transparency and impact resistance, specifically to a method of preparing transparent resin of rubber-modified styrene copolymer comprising graft-copolymerizing styrene monomer and (meth)acrylate monomer in the presence of block or random styrene-butadiene copolymer which has 30 - 50 % of styrene skeleton content and 20 - 40 cp of 5% toluene solution viscosity at 25¡É. According to the method of the present invention, the transparent resin containing the rubber particles of a double structure comprising onion and core-shell structure can provide transparent resin of rubber-modified styrene copolymer resin with excellent transparency and impact resistance as well as good gloss.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polymer produced by polymerizing a vinyl aromatic monomer in the presence of a small amount of furfuryl (alkyl) acrylate.
Abstract:
A method of obtaining polystyrene plastics consists in that an aqueous medium containing fresh-made tricalcium phosphate (0.15-1.5 % by weight) and calcium carbonate (0.07-0.35 % by weight) is heated before mixing it with a monomer (comonomer or prepolymer) for preparation of a suspension, and during the suspension-polymerization process, at a conversion of 15-47 %, secondary sodium alkyl sulphates (0.001-0.020 % by weight) are introduced. The method allows to obtain all kinds of polystyrene plastics by using the same technology, to provide for required granulometric composition of the beads with a low content of powder fractions and to increase the stability of the process.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multistage polymer, its composition and its process of preparation. In particular the present invention it relates to a multistage polymer, its composition and its process of preparation and its use as impact modifier in thermoplastic compositions. More particularly the present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a polymer composition comprising a multistage polymer and its use as impact modifier in thermoplastic compositions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition and a preparation method of the same, and more precisely a thermoplastic resin having excellent impact strength, surface gloss, and beautiful color, as well as a high level of hardness and scratch resistance, which comprises a) a primary graft copolymer prepared by polymerization of conjugated diene rubber latex with (metha)acrylic acid alkyl ester compound, aromatic vinyl compound and vinyl cyan compound; and b) a secondary copolymer prepared by polymerization of (metha)acrylic acid alkyl ester compound with aromatic vinyl compound and vinyl cyan compound.
Abstract:
The instant invention relates to a stabilized composition of methylmethacrylate-butadiene-styrene graft copolymers with selected sterically hindered phenolic antioxidants and thioethers. Further subjects of the invention are a process for the stabilization of methylmethacrylate-butadiene-styrene graft copolymers and the use of selected sterically hindered phenolic antioxidants together with a thioether for the thermal stabilization of said graft copolymer.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a polymer obtainable by radical co-polymerisation of a first monomer of general formula (I) or (II) or a mixture thereof: wherein A, A', B, B' X, Y, Y' and n are as defined herein; with a second, cross-linking monomer and optionally with one or more further co-monomers; wherein the molar ratio of the first monomer to other monomers is less than or equal to 1:5. The polymers selectively bind to phosphate ester compounds and can be used as a solid phase in a method for isolating compounds comprising a phosphate ester group from a mixture comprising one or more phosphate monoesters and/or phosphate diesters and/or other compounds such as lipids.
