The unwinding-separating device (10) is assembled rotatable in correspondence with one end of the bobbin (12) and comprises a first thread-guide element (14) in which the first inner segment (11a) of yarn passes. The first thread-guide element (14) is supported by a circular element (16) mounted coaxial with the bobbin (12). The circular element (16) is provided with separation means (13) able to separate the first inner segment (11a) from the second outer segment (11b) of the yarn.

The thread guide (9) and the central wheel (7) are on the one hand rotatable and on the other stationary. In this thread-twisting device only one drive is required for both withdrawing the thread and rotating the spindle.

According to the invention, the two filaments (F1 and F2) are joined and taken directly by a system for winding same on a receiving spool (17), in combination with braking members (2-9) which are adjusted such that tension T1 + T'1 of the first filament (F1) is equal to tension T2 of the second filament (F2) and the sum of tensions T1 + T'1 + T2 is equal to the winding tension.

A tenser retracting structure for double twisting machines, having a cylindrical housing (6) inserted in the interior of a take-up tube (5) in a yarn supply package (4) which is set on a fixed board of a double twisting machine, a lower support member (8) fixed in the interior of the housing (6), a yarn guide tube (9) inserted in the interior of the housing (6) and capable of being moved in the vertical direction, an upper support member (10) fixed to the yarn guide tube, and a tenser (7) held between the lower and upper support members. The yarn guide tube (9), which is energized by a spring, is provided with a cam member (14) which is provided in its outer circumferential surface with a cam recess (13) engaged with a pin (21) projecting into the interior of the housing (6). The housing (6) is provided at its certain portion with a magnet (22) for use in retracting and retaining the tenser (7) in a position which is away from the path of the yarn.
