Abstract:
The present invention is part of the field of flowrate mixing and adjusting devices and in particular relates to a new device for mixing and adjusting the flow of liquids with electronic control of the temperature and of the flowrate, for domestic and/or industrial plumbing systems. The device is modular and stackable.
Abstract:
A mixer valve (10) includes a cartridge (30) that houses a ball valve element (24). The cartridge includes a lower housing member (32) affixed to an upper housing member (34) by a pin (66) which also engages the ball valve (24) to constrain its motion in two independent directions.
Abstract:
A mixer valve includes a cartridge (26) that houses a ball valve element (24) that has its lower end exposed to cooperate with inlet ports. The ball valve element (24) is vertically affixed within the cartridge housing (56) by a pin (60) extending through the ball valve element and having its distal ends (62) received in a pair of circumferentially extending slots (68).
Abstract:
A ball type mixer valve (20) has a housing (25) and a ball valve element (11) mounted for pivotable motion about a longitudinal axis (A) of the housing (25) and a second perpendicular axis (B) that is fixed with respect to the ball valve element (11). The ball valve element has a control stem (10) extending therefrom and a pin (15) extending at a substantially perpendicular angle from the control stem. Two distal ends (16 and 17) of pin (15) form pivots which are received in slots (7) formed in the valve housing to position the ball vertically in the housing and allow the motion of the ball about the two defined axes.
Abstract:
A mixing valve with a movable spherical valve element (14) with a guide mechanism which allows for rotation of the spherical valve element about its center along two different directions. The valve element (14) is provided with an opening (17) that cooperates together with inlet openings (10, 11, 12 and 13) for hot and cold water which are equipped with tubular seals (8) made from elastomeric material. The valve element (14) also has an outlet opening (16) for the mixed water located in a partially spherical seat in the fixed part of the faucet to control the proportion of the mixing between the hot and cold water and the flow of the mixed water. There are at least two openings (10, 11) for supplying the hot water equipped with tubular seals (8) and at least two openings (12,13) for supplying cold water with tubular seals (8). At least four openings (10, 11, 12 and 13) for supplying water are approximately located approximately along a great circle and circumferentially spaced about the semi-spherical seat. The opening (17) in the spherical valve element is elongated so that at least two openings are always fully uncovered in the full open position.
Abstract:
A faucet of the "washerless construction" employing a spherical valve member (80) in which the spherical valve member has only a single protruding tubular member (26) that serves both as the valve member operator and the discharge nozzle for the faucet.
Abstract:
An internal blow out preventer (1) for use in a drill string, comprising a housing (2) having an outer valve closure element (4) and associated seals (30, 36) and where the outer valve closure element (4) is configured to be moved between an open and a closed position, wherein the outer valve closure element (4) is provided with an inner valve closure element (6) that is configured to be moved between an open and a closed position inside the outer valve closure element(4).
