Abstract:
A technique includes modifying a first record based on a plurality of training records to provide a plurality of modified records. The plurality of training records are associated with a regression model, and a target outcome is associated with the first record. The technique includes applying the regression model to the plurality of modified records to provide outcomes for the modified records; and selecting a group of the modified records based at least in part on the outcomes for the modified records. The technique includes providing a recommendation for the first record to change an outcome predicted for the first record by the regression model based at least part on the target outcome and the outcomes for the modified records.
Abstract:
A dynamic attribute search engine system can be implemented to execute faceted searches using dynamic facets. In embodiments, a dynamic attribute search engine system includes one or more product databases, a data ingestor, an index, a query service, and a faceted searcher. The dynamic attribute search engine system is programmed to dynamically determine facets for a faceted search in response to dominant categories identified for each search query.
Abstract:
A collection of data is displayed. A filter user input is received from a user in order to filter the data. The filter user input can be on a grid-based filter, it can be on a filter pane, or on a column header filter. The data is filtered, based upon the filter user input, and the filtered data is displayed.
Abstract:
Date entries may be made using aliases in place of a specific dates. Instead of a user having to locate or determine a specific date for a date entry field, the alias that represents the date may be entered in the date entry field. The date for the alias is determined from a context of the date entry. For example, the context may include a determination as to what application is requesting the date, what entity is associated with the date entry, and the like. In a payroll date example, a next pay date "NPD" alias may change based on the employee. The data used to determine the date that is represented by the alias may be one or more data sets. The aliases may be associated with more than one application.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to a method for creating a book about a specific object, comprising a user interface and a memory accessible by the interface. The interface being accessible by at least one data provider and by a data collector instructing the interface. The method comprises: the interface requesting from, the data collector basic information about the specific object and storing that in the memory; providing a space in the memory for the data to be stored; the interface requesting from the data collector identification information about at least one data provider; the interface inviting the at least one data provider to add data relating to the specific object to the memory; the interface requesting the at least one data provider to sort the data to the memory; the interface notifying the data collector of the data added to the memory; and the interface inviting the data collector to retrieve the data of the memory, the data being sorted according to the basic information as a book and presented as a book to the data collector. The present disclosure is also directed to a book created by the method.
Abstract:
A system predicts the intent of a user and proactively offers to perform a query that satisfies that intent. Upon the user's acceptance of the offer, the system begins a search for related information. The system examines such factors as search terms typed or spoken by said user, historical attributes of said user, historical journey attributes of said user, current journey attributes of said user, user location, user movement, current time, user profile, user calendar, user information stored on, or associated with, a device within the user's possession. The system then makes a prediction of any of the user's intent, query category, and issue category. Based upon the results of the system's prediction, a query that is relevant to the user's intent and/or issue categories is presented and, upon the user's command, the results of the search are returned to the user.
Abstract:
The present invention.provides computer-based systems and methods directed to maintaining a database of user profiles based, respectively, on user interaction with third-party systems. The invention includes the processes of: accessing a unique user profile associated with a unique user; automatically collecting, by an agent module executing on a processor associated with a first system, data associated with the unique user based at least in part on the unique user's interaction with a system unassociated with the first system; evaluating by the processor the collected data and searching available databases to identify potential items of interest to the unique user based at least in part on the unique user profile and the collected data; determining a set of predicted items of interest to the unique user from the identified potential items of interest; and displaying data representing the set of predicted items of interest.
Abstract:
A database query template and metadata mapping provide an end-user to generate customized database reports via a user interface. The parameters and data available to the end-user can be modified by editing the database query template and metadata mapping without modifications of the underlying system. A database query template includes query language keywords, variables, and template-tokens and defines the metrics, dimensions, data comparisons, filters, and aggregations available to an end-user. Template tokens include restriction tokens for comparing and filtering data, options-section-tokens for defining and omitting sections of the query template, and descriptor tokens for identifying dimensions and metrics of the database. The database query template is transformed into a database query based on values input by a user. The metadata mapping associates the variables of the database query template to the database data model and can include data constraints for validation of user input.
