摘要: The present invention is directed to a device and method, both arranged to process information of a data stream received from a data stream transmitting device. A stream data distributing entity of the device determines data portion groups of the data stream and assigns each data portion of all data portions of each data portion group to a processing entity of a processing entity set of the device for further processing. Each processing entity of the processing entity set processes, within one processing operation, all data portions of a data portion group, which are assigned to the processing entity, and generates, for the data portion group, a corresponding partial result. A final processing entity of the device processes within one processing operation all partial results, generated by the processing entities for the data portion group, and generates, for the data portion group, a final result.

Techniques are described for dynamically generating stateful app links. For example, page launcher events can be intercepted during user interaction with a mobile application. During the interaction, a request can be received to dynamically generate a stateful app link to a current page of the mobile application. In response to the request, a stateful app link to the current page can be created. The stateful app link can then be output. When the stateful app link is activated later, it returns to the current page of the mobile application. In some implementations, user interface events are also captured and used when creating the stateful app link.

摘要: A mechanism is described for facilitating execution-aware hybrid preemption for execution of tasks in computing environments. A method of embodiments, as described herein, includes detecting a software application being hosted by a computing device, where the software applications to facilitate one or more tasks that are capable of being executed by a graphics processor of the computing device. The method may further include selecting at least one of a fine grain preemption or a coarse grain preemption based on comparison of a first time estimation and a second time estimation relating to the one or more tasks at thread level execution and work group level execution, respectively. The method may further include initiating performance of the selected one of the fine grain preemption and the coarse grain preemption.

摘要: Systems, methods and instrumentalities are disclosed for a computing node in a wireless network. The computing node may receive a computation request that comprises a script for execution. The computation request may further comprise input data or an input data handle. The script may be parsed to determine one or more atoms (e.g., an executable code component) referenced by the script. The one or more atoms may be preloaded (e.g., prior to the receiving of the computation request) at one or more nodes in the wireless network. The computing node may determine where each of the one or more atoms are pre-loaded. Upon determining that all of the one or more atoms are preloaded at the computing node, the computation request may be performed locally at the computing node. The compute node instead may decide to forward the computation request (e.g., even if the computing node has all atoms loaded locally), for example, if the computing node is under a heavy load and/or depending upon the location of input data. Upon determining that at least one of the one or more atoms are not preloaded at the computing node, the computing node may send a request for the atoms that are not pre-loaded locally, fetch the atoms that are not pre-loaded locally, and perform the computation request locally. Upon determining that at least one of the one or more atoms are not preloaded at the computing node, the computing node may determine that the computation request should be performed, at least in part, at another node.

摘要: Non-limiting examples of the present disclosure describe decoupling task state tracking that is managed by a shared task completion platform from execution of tasks by a task resource owner. Task registration data is received at a shared task state platform for a task that is executable by a task owner resource. Task registration data comprises parameters to be collected for execution of the task and ancillary information, such as the name of the task and whether to confirm the values of the parameters after collection. During interaction with a user, the shared task completion platform receives an input and determines the task is associated with the received input. During the interaction, parameters of the received task registration data are utilized to collect data for execution of the task. The collected data is transmitted to the task owner resource for execution of the task.
