Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a contact pin (1) with a contact section (3), which runs substantially parallel to a contacting direction (K), for being pressed into a contact pin receptacle (63) and with a mounting section (5) which is angled with respect to the contact section (3) and which is connected to the contact section (3) in a transition region (7) of the contact pin (1). The invention further relates to a connector with at least one contact pin (1) and to a method for producing a connector. In order to provide a contact pin (1) and a connector which can be produced quickly, at low cost and reproducibly and which have reproducible conductive properties, it is intended, according to the invention, for the contact pin (1) that the transition region (7) has a recess (9) which forms a substantially planar engagement surface (11) for a press-in tool.
Abstract:
The invention provides a connector inspection system capable of easily and surely detecting whether or not an attachment state of a connecting terminal in a waterproof connector housing in which packing is attached to the proximal end side outer periphery of a terminal receiving part is proper. A connector housing 41 to be inspected includes reference flat surfaces 428 formed by straight extending in an insertion direction of a connecting terminal 61 in a top side outer peripheral region of a terminal receiving part 42 so as not to overlap with a mounting range of a packing attachment surface 426, and an inspection jig 51 includes guide flat surfaces 514 for slidably making surface contact with the reference flat surfaces 428 in the case of inserting a detecting pin 511 into a hole 425 for inspection of the connector housing 41, and a position and a direction of insertion of the inspection jig 51 into the connector housing 41 are regulated by sliding contact between the reference flat surfaces 428 and the guide flat surfaces 514.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing tools for releasing cable joints. According to the invention, a spring steel (3) that is cut into lengths is used. The cut spring steel (3) is pressed into a sleeve and is crimped therewith. The tool for releasing the cable joints has a shaft (1) which is provided with at least one release pin. The shaft (1) is formed from a sleeve. A spring steel (3) is pressed into said sleeve. A t least one release pin is embodied at the free ends of the spring steel (3).
Abstract:
A tool (1) to insert a plurality of elongated flexible electric conductors (4) into the slots (3) of an elongated flexible insulating housing (2). The tool (1) has a passage (13) through which the housing (2) and conductors (4) move to have the conductors (4) urged into the slot (3). The passage (13) is bordered by a plurality of ramps (10) which engages the conductors (4) to urge them into the slot (3).
