    摘要: A method of harvesting fresh produce indoors includes receiving from a customer an order for unharvested, fresh produce to be harvested by the customer in predetermined intervals over a predetermined period of time. The method additionally includes, in a growing facility, planting seeds, seedlings, or small plants, in a multi-layered substrate, the substrate including at least three layers, a first layer an external layer including a mesh screen material, a second layer an opposing layer including an isolating material, and a third layer a middle layer including a bedding material between the external layer and the isolating layer, the planting temporally distributed to allow the fresh produce to be ready for harvesting at the predetermined intervals. The method further includes, growing each plant to a predetermined state of product maturity associated with a selected interval of the predetermined intervals, and transporting the plurality of grown plants to the customer.
