Das Förderband (16) ist in Form eines durchgehenden Bands, vorzugsweise als Endlos-Band, mit einer Netzstruktur ausgebildet ist, derart, dass die Pflanzen (P) sich allein durch die Ausbildung ihres Wurzelwerks (W) unmittelbar an der Netzstruktur des Förderbands (16) befestigen.

摘要: A robotic farming system includes a storage structure and a mobile robot. The storage structure has a set of parallel rails and is configured to accommoda te crops in a plurality of horizontal rows arranged in a vertical direction. The robot includes a body, a mobility assembly to move the body along the set of parallel rails and a service effector for servicing the crops. The service effector may be provided on a plate that is extendable in a vertical direction relative to the body for servicing the crops accommodated within the storage structure. In one aspect, the service effector includes one or more nozzles for spraying fluid such as water, a gas or growth media on the crops. Alternatively, the service effector may be a manipulator and/or pruning tool.

摘要: A farming method may be shown and described. In an exemplary embodiment, plants may begin in a germination phase. Next, plants are brought to a nursery for a period of time before optionally being transplanted to one or more subsequent nurseries. Finally, plants are transplanted to a greenhouse where they may grow until they are ready for harvest. In an exemplary embodiment, the nursery phases may be vertical farms while the greenhouse phase may be a traditional farm which receives sunlight. AI may be implemented to optimize environmental conditions and robotics may be used to harvest the plants. Plants may be indexed in order to efficiently expedite plant growth and optimize the time in each phase.
