Electrified covering system for boats, comprising: an impermeable PVC sheet with bipolar electrified strip adapted to transmit electrical pulses of such voltage as to cause annoyance but not physical damage to any animals that may land and/or walk on the sheet, said sheet comprising: - at least 2 fixing eyelets in plastic material adapted to fix said impermeable sheet to a boat, - a. watertight box for electrical connection to a. power supplier comprising a rechargeable battery adapted for the operation of said system. - a. transformer adapted to adjust the recharge voltage of the rechargeable battery. - a watertight button for turning on/off said system - a. watertight plug for connecting to an external energy source for recharging the battery. - a display indicating the charge state of the internal battery, and - a. voltage reducer adapted to adjust the voltage of the electrical pulses introduced into the bipolar strip.

O sistema é constituído por barreiras física e elétrica, com componentes de sensoriamento e alarme da primeira e de conexão e atívação da última, todos ligados a fonte interna constituída, por conjunto de baterías ou sistema elétrico convencional, provido o último de conjunto de baterías, para cobertura de eventuais falhas no suprimento elétrico, pela duração de tempo considerada maís conveniente pelo usuário. O sistema impede o acesso a recintos fechados ou semifechados, de modo que a detecção pelo componente de sensoriamento e alarme da simples aproximação de agente de intrusão a distância inferior à, estabelecida ativa o componente de conexão e ativação da barreira elétrica, alimentada por fontes próprias ou convencionais substituíveis pelas fontes próprias no caso de queda do suprimento externo, tornando toda a barreira elétríca energizada praticamente inexpugnável a arrombamento, em razão do disparo de descargas elétrícas de elevada voltagem e baixa amperagem, conforme conveniente. Este sistema é aplicável a quaisquer recintos fechados, a serem protegidos volumicamente, e/ou semifechados, em que a proteção é colocada somente nalgum(ns) lados, cujo acesso interior, após a respectiva barreira física, é constítuído por toldos ou telas ou portões internos condutores, ligados à barreira elétrica, que é ativada pelo componente de conexão e ativação, mediante aviso do componente de sensoriamento e alarme ou em instalações de alvenaría ou semelhantes. O sistema pode ser mantido permanentemente ativado ou atívado apenas quando é recebido no componente de conexão e ativação um aviso do componente de sensoriamento e alarme.

A deterrent device for birds or other animals from target location uses a combination of light reflectors and an odor that acts as a deterrent against birds. A collection of the light reflectors can be disposed in gel having an odor-releasing composition. The gel can be disposed in a dish or an adhesive tape which should be positioned in close proximity to the location where birds or other animals should be deterred.

According to the invention, there is provided a versatile bird guard apparatus comprising at least the following: a horizontal base that is adapted to receive a number of vertical extensions of various length along the full length of the base. In an embodiment of the invention, said extensions are operable to be reversibly secured to the horizontal base. In this embodiment of the invention, said base is operable to be adapted to be reversibly secured to the flash tower. In an embodiment of the invention, the bird guard includes one or more modular units that are readily assembled on site so as to operably assist with ease of installation.
Abstract:
The invention provides a means for reliably scaring away birds from buildings and parts of buildings. To this end, the invention provides flat cables (3) in whose plastic bodies live-line wires are accommodated in parallel which are bare and whose insulation is stripped towards the landing area of the birds. The plastic body is provided with openings (15) so as to prevent electrically conductive bridges between the wires (8) from forming in said area. Said openings impart a substantially perforated structure to the landing areas without keeping the birds from landing.

Die Stütz-Halterungen dienen zum Tragen von gespannten Drähten (8) als Vogelschutz an Gebäuden. Als Besonderheit bestehen sie durchwegs und einzig aus spritzgiessfähigem Material und sie werden im Spritzguss-Verfahren hergestellt. Sie weisen einen Flansch (9) mit wenigstens zwei Bohrlöchern auf, sowie einen darauf stehenden Stab (15), der für die elektrische Anwendung an seinem Ende mit einer Bohrung (6) sowie auf seiner halben Höhe mit einer Bohrung (7) versehen ist. Der Stab ist für die stromlose Anwendung oben in zwei Äste verzweigt, die am Ende mit je einer Bohrung versehen sind.

It is disclosed a device for controlling and/or euthanizing vermin or pests for preventing such vermin or pests from entering into a geographical area or into a building, wherein the device comprises at least one completely or partially unisulated electrically conducting wire or conductor connected to an electrical current source, providing controlled electrical pulses to said conductor or wire in the form of pulses or pulse trains. The device may be used in a method for controlling the access of pests/vermin to a geographical location, building or property wherein the electrically conducting wire(s) lead(s) an electrical current with an amperage of not less than 0.0001 A. An external stimuli is provided that alerts animals to danger and/or repels the animals from certain areas. More specifically, the system and method of the present invention uses an external stimuli, such as, for example, pulsing microwaves, vibration or supersonic sound waves, in order to alert birds or other animals of danger and/or repel these same birds or animals from specific areas. These produced external stimuli may provide a reversible unpleasant sensation to the birds and other animals so that they will not only be repelled from a specific area, such as an airport, but also will avoid returning to such area. One such unpleasant sensation that is virtually harmless to the birds and other animals is the sensation of dizziness.
