Abstract:
A push-back storage rack comprises a frame (12) defining at least one storage bay (18) having a depth sufficient to accommodate a plurality of separate storage units (19); and a track-mounted carriage assembly mounted in the bay. The carriage assembly comprises at least two articulated carts (32) connected together end-to-end for pivotal movement about a transverse horizontal axis. The carts ride on a track (24) that has an upper track section (26), a lower track section (28), and an arcuate front section (30) that joins the upper and lower track sections. The track guides the carts for movement between the front and the rear of the bay on the upper track section and directs the carts downwardly and then rearwardly on the lower track section in an inverted position as the carts move forwardly at the front end of the upper track section. The carts are thus stored underneath the upper track section and are brought upwardly to the upper track section as the carts are filled and moved rearwardly in the upper track section.
Abstract:
Article support and display assembly wherein a common peg bar (11) is used to accept molding support pegs (14) and merchandise pegs (12) which are readily removable from the peg bar and which are thus adjustable so that the tag molding (1) can be located above and forward of merchandise being supported by the merchandise pegs.
Abstract:
A display fixture is provided for holding and displaying merchandise for sale. The display system includes a flat display panel (12) and a pair of side walls (26) extending from the edges (16) of the display panel (12). The display panel (12) includes one means for attaching a merchandise shelf, hook or the like for holding and displaying the merchandise. The display panel and side walls are integral with each other, are made of sheet metal, and have outwardly projecting support channels extending length of the panel. The held and displayed merchandise has a weight that is substantially all transferred vertically downwards through the display fixture system such that the system requires relatively small holders to keep it upright.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an arrangement (1) for a hollow profile moulding (2) which is so arranged as to be capable of supporting objects (3). Several mouldings (2) exhibit front pieces (6-8) arranged at a mutual distance from one another with an opening (9) formed in between for the purpose of accommodating object supports (10-11). Means are also provided for the detachable supporting of sheet-shaped panels (14-16). Amongst other things, the invention permits simple alteration of the construction and composition of the profile mouldings. When in the position in which they are connected to the hollow profile mouldings (2) in question, detachable cover strips (18-20) which exhibit inward-facing coupling elements (21-29) capable of interacting with front pieces (6-8) and panel fixing devices (12-13) situated along the front surface (18A-20A) of the strips, form panel holders with a passage (30) between connected cover strips (18-20) for a securing opening (9).
Abstract:
A sales shelf of the type being mountable optionally in a horizontal position, with a high rear wall portion (10) and with a front edge (8) having fixtures (9) for sign plates (12), and in an inverted forwardly and downwardly inclined position, in which the rear wall portion constitutes a high front wall. According to the invention also this wall portion is provided with fixtures (9) for the sign plates, such that the same sign plates can be used in both situations.
Abstract:
Whereas in conventional metal shelf systems, particularly as shop fittings, sheet formed shelf carrier consoles are used, the invention provides for the use of spatial, U-shaped consoles (6), appearing with the same width as the associated carrier rails (2). This gives a number of new construction possibilities, e.g. for the shelves (18) to extend all the way to the mounting wall without having corner cuts for the rails. The consoles or covers (20) placed thereon may form esthetic, flat junctions between the neighbouring shelves, and various carrier and covering rods (14, 38) can be intruded into the consoles from both sides, whereby the shelves do not need to be self-supporting.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for replenishing product packages on sales and advertising display racks, said device incorporating a base member (1) with portions (2) suited for suspending said member. To aid the sorting of the products, the device according to the invention has attached to the base member a tubular replenishing peg member with a tip (6) which is hollow and bent at its unattached end (5), whereby the articles or products to be displayed can be preloaded onto the replenishing peg member in a desired vending order for later insertion on the hangers of the actual sales and presentation displays.
Abstract:
A shelving/display system in which a support rail (1) with an upstanding lip (3) is attached to a wall or vertical surface and one or more hangers (11) with an arm (16) extending therefrom is releasably attachable thereto. Preferable each hanger (11) and arm (16) includes cooperating locating means (15, 18) whereby the location of the arm (16) can be adjusted intermediate the ends of the hanger (11).
Abstract:
A display assembly includes a channel member (12) in a substantially horizontal, upwardly facing disposition on a supporting surface (13), a hanger member (14, 52) engaging with the channel member (12) and a package member (16, 60) receivable on the hanger member (14, 52) for supporting and displaying items. The hanger member (14, 52) includes engagement portion (25, 56) which is engaged with the hanger member (14, 52) and an arm (36, 59) which extends outwardly from the engagement portion (26, 56), and the package member (16, 60) is receivable on the arm (36, 59) of the hanger member (14, 52). In a first embodiment (10) the package member comprises a display box (16) releasably receivable on an arm (36) and operative for supporting and displaying an item. In a second embodiment (50) the package member comprises a package such as a display card (60) receivable on a hanger member (52) and operative for displaying an item.
Abstract:
The improved display and support assemblies can be used commercially for displaying goods or supporting display hardware, or can be used in homes/offices in a holding/storage capacity. The basic support member (10) can be free-standing or wall-attached. The support member (10) can be covered by post covers (17) of varying shapes for enhancing visual looks or appearances. The post covers (17) sapnably engage the support member. The support member can have spaced apertures (20) thereon or a groove into which inserts (12D) having spaced apertures may be placed. Display hardware (13) can be inserted into the apertures of the support member. The support member can be supported along a track (28) attached to the wall. The support member attaches to a post mount (25), part of which resides within a channel (29) of the track.
