Abstract: A wheelstand for handicapped or immobile persons having a generally rectangular main frame (12) rotatably supported on a ground support surface by relatively small wheels (32, 34) while larger wheels (36) are rotatably mounted to the frame (12) and manually rotated by the user in order to propel the frame. A generally planar body support structure (40) is pivotally carried by the frame so that the angular position of the support structure (40) can be varied with respect to the frame (12) while still enabling the user to grip the larger wheels (36) and propel the wheelstand.

Abstract: An adjustable desk-top assembly (10) is disclosed having upper (22), lower (16), and inner side panels (18, 20), the upper (22) and lower (16) panels being spaced apart for forming a compartmentalized enclosure. The desk-top (10) has an adjustable work surface (28) capable of assuming a slope and a centralized cut-out portion (30) therein for extending in a semi-circle around the user of the desk (10). The inner or door panels (26), are releasably secured and can be removed for accommodating any of a number of suitable components. The slope imparted to the work surface (28) can be adjusted to an optimum level for the particular task and, by imparting greater slope and covering the components therein, a security measure (36) is also provided.

Abstract: A stand (10) for a monitor (14) and a keyboard (18), which can be used to hold a computer monitor (14) and a keyboard (18) so that a human operator may comfortably use the computer in a variety of positions, including sitting in a conventional chair and standing. The stand (10) includes two shelves (12, 16), each of which is attached to a post. The posts (20, 24) are then attached to a base (22). One shelf (12) is designed to hold a monitor, while the other (16) is designed to hold a keyboard. The keyboard shelf (16) itself is tiltable about its post (24), such that the angle between the keyboard shelf and its post is adjustable. Both the post (24) attached to the keyboard shelf, and the post (20) attached to the monitor shelf, are independently extensible, such that the length of each post, and hence the vertical position of each shelf, can be adjusted independently. The post (24) attached to the keyboard shelf is also pivotable about the base (22), such that the angle between the post and the base, as well as the horizontal distance between the keyboard shelf and the monitor shelf, is adjustable.
