Adjustable storage systems, adjustable storage receptacles, and methods of manufacturing and using the same are disclosed. In one aspect, an adjustable storage system includes a plurality of adjustable storage receptacles, each of which may include a housing, an opening/closing mechanism, and an expansion mechanism. The expansion mechanism may be operable to increase or decrease an interior storage volume of the associated storage receptacle, enabling greater flexibility in storing objects of different shapes and sizes, relative to a fixed-size or fixed-geometry storage receptacle. In additional aspects, a method of using an adjustable storage receptacle and a method of using an adjustable storage system are provided, and further, a method of manufacturing an adjustable storage receptacle and a method of manufacturing an adjustable storage system are provided.

A secure, lockable folding storage box is disclosed herein. The storage box may attach to doors or walls. The storage box and fastening mechanism is adjustable to accommodate doors of various sizes. The storage box may also be mounted to any fixed or mobile structure. The storage box may be remotely locked, or unlocked, and/or have a programmable key access code interface.
Abstract:
Medication-receivers for safely and securely receiving the temporary delivery of medications are discussed. Such medication-receivers may be removably attached to exterior doors or structures such as, but not limited to, residences and/or businesses, without damage to such exterior doors, and in a manner that minimizes and/or deters theft of contents of the given medication-receiver. Such medication-receivers may have a cabinet and a downward sliding drawer for receiving the medication. The drawer may be locked to the cabinet. Such medication-receivers may be outfitted with various electronics that may facilitate safe and secure delivery of medication, including locking and unlocking of the drawer, delivery verification, recipient pickup verification, secure access controls, tamper monitoring, and the like.

Abstract:
A directed delivery system for drone delivery of an item to a location. The directed delivery system includes a receptacle to receive the item at the location, a container to receive the delivered item spaced some distance from the container in the vertical plane. A conduit lies between the receptacle and the containers that directs the item from one to the other minimizing the risk of damage during travel. Drone delivery of the item to the location is so that the item is received in the receptacle, and directed by the conduit to the container at the desired delivery point with minimal impact.

An apparatus (1) for receiving mail is described, comprising a body (2) provided with a main inner cavity (3), configured for containing at least one mail item, a movable closing element (4), configured for allowing or preventing access to the main inner cavity (3), a through opening (5), configured for allowing the insertion of the mail item inside the main inner cavity (3), and a locking device (6) of the movable closing element (4). The locking device (6) is of the electronically actuated type and comprises a first user interface element (7) configured for allowing the input of a signal for locking and/or unlocking the locking device (6). The first user interface element (7) can be accessed from outside the apparatus (1) for receiving mail. The apparatus (1) comprises electric power supply means (25) configured for supplying the locking device (6) and the respective user interface element (7), respectively. The apparatus (1) further comprises an emergency opening equipment comprising in turn a second user interface element (26), provided with connecting means (27) with the locking device (6), and at least one unlocking device (28) configured for unlocking the locking device (6) by means of the connecting means (27), in case of malfunction of said locking device (6) and/or of the first user interface element (7).

A system for securely depositing an item includes: a deposit box with a door configured to provide selective access to an interior space in the deposit box; a lock mechanism configured to attach to the deposit box to selectively block the door from opening; a first proximity sensor operatively connected to the lock mechanism to operate the lock mechanism to block the door or allow the door to open; a second proximity sensor configured to be attached to at least one of: a delivery person and a piece of delivery equipment; a third proximity sensor; and a first transmitter operatively connected to the lock mechanism and configured to transmit a signal indicative of operating information regarding the lock mechanism, and wherein the deposit box is at least 18 inches wide and 24 inches long.

Described herein is a secure parcel and mail delivery pod comprising an enclosure or housing configured to securely receive mail, parcels and the like. The pod and functions thereof is in electronic communication with delivery devices and can be remotely controlled by a user from a communication device such as a smart telephone, and has the ability to be modular in design to accommodate different sized mail items, be visible and easily located by a delivery person, vehicle and/or autonomous delivery vehicle.
