摘要: A device for delivering a biocompatible patch material to a biological site, the device comprising: a housing comprising: a cocking mechanism; an activation button to release the cocking mechanism; and a needle cartridge recess; and a needle cartridge removably received by the needle cartridge recess of the housing, the needle cartridge comprising: a storage cell containing the biocompatible patch material; and a needle comprising a lumen in fluid communication with the storage cell; wherein the needle cartridge is mechanically coupled to the cocking mechanism when the needle cartridge is received by the needle cartridge recess such that engagement of the activation button dispenses the biocompatible patch material from a distal end of the needle.

摘要: There is provided a resection device to remove a portion of a solid organ of a patient in the context of resection surgeries. The resection device includes a magnet assembly implantable into a body cavity of the patient, the magnet assembly including a plurality of magnet elements flexibly connected in series. The magnet assembly is configured to be positioned around a portion of an outer surface of the solid organ to magnetically attract opposite magnet elements together to compress opposite sides of the solid organ along a resection line therebetween to separate the solid organ in a resectioned portion and a remaining portion. The magnet elements can be received in a housing and have various shapes. The resection device can include additional features such as a leading elongated member that can aid in the positioning of the resection device, and a trailing elongated member.

摘要: An apparatus for harvesting a subcutaneous blood vessel is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a guidewire with an angled tip, an intra-vascular catheter to receive the guidewire and having a lateral orifice to allow the angled tip thereof to perforate the subcutaneous blood vessel. The apparatus further comprises a flexible pulling device having a pair of circumferential grooves, one adjacent to each end thereof, to allow for securing the subcutaneous blood vessel thereat; and a flexible pushing device having a concave-cup shape at a distal end thereof to facilitate pushing of the subcutaneous blood vessel secured with one of the pair of circumferential grooves of the flexible pulling device. The flexible pulling device and the flexible pushing device are operable in conjunction to cause inversion and eversion and separation from the surrounding tissues of the subcutaneous blood vessel for removal and harvesting thereof.

摘要: A method of directional skin tightening by fractional treatment of the skin is provided. The method includes producing a plurality of excised tissue portions in a region of skin tissue. The method further includes applying contraction or expansion tension to the region of skin tissue in at least one predetermined direction. Applying the contraction or expansion tension to the region of skin tissue promotes collagen growth and provides directional skin tightening in the region of skin tissue.

The negative pressure device (300) has a suction port (310) in communication with the rear end of the suction tube (200) and connected with one of the cylinder cavities (430a, 430b). The cylinder body (410) can move relative to the shell (100), and the shell (100) has a scale part (500) corresponding to the moving displacement of the cylinder body (410). The elastic ring (600) is sleeved at the front end of the suction tube (200).
