A hand control device for swimmers is presented. The device has a main body with two holes in a side-by-side configuration. The first one of the two holes is configured for a third digit of a person's hand while the second one of the two holes is configured for a fourth digit of the person's hand. The inside surface of each hole comprises a plurality of grooves that run depthwise thereby providing wet traction while impacting minimum direct pressure on the nerves, vessels and tendons. The outside surface of the device may also include ridges to provide pass through for water.

A swimming paddle with an upper rounded swimcap-shaped edge terminating in side indentations that define cap-securing temples, and a central goggle-securing notch cooperating with a concave region in the lower edge to store goggles vertically on the paddle. The paddle may further include fingerpad-indexing holes extending through the body of the paddle from the inner face to the outer face, the holes sized to allow only the fingerpads of a swimmer's extended fingers to partially protrude from the inner face. A method for custom fitting a swimming paddle to a particular swimmer's hand includes generating a side-by-side image of the swimmer's hand and a commonly-carried object such as a mobile phone in a common plane. The image is compared to stored dimensional data for the object to remotely determine the dimensions of the swimmer's hand and manufacture a custom paddle.

A swimming aid (10) is worn on the hand and secured to and between the forefinger (26) and the thumb (24) of a swimmer. The swimming aid (10) includes a fan-shaped body portion (12) having relatively wide frontal edge (28) and two lateral edges tapering rearwardly toward an apex (30) adjacent a webbed crotch portion (89) of the hand formed between the forefinger (26) and the thumb (24). The swimming aid (10) has a crotch receiving portion (86) formed towards the apex (30) of the body portion (12) for receiving and sealingly communicating with the webbed crotch portion (89) of the hand. Also included is a thumb receiving portion (42) and a forefinger receiving portion (64), both extending laterally from the lateral edges of the body portion respectively, intermediate the wide frontal edge (28) and the apex (30). The thumb and the forefinger receiving portions (42, 64) are integrally formed with the body portion (12) and encircle and retain the thumb (24) and forefinger (26).

摘要: Pala ergonómica de natación.

The present invention comprises an arm fin, designed for the improvement and enhancement of the swim perfornance. The fin id hold by the swimmer hand and secured to the forearm through a band. The handgrip may be temporarly left free in order to perform simple operations in the water or outside, being the fin secured to the arm all the time. The ergonomic shape makes the fin similar to an offshoot of the human body itself, like a wing or the ventral fin of aquatic animals such as penguins, marine turtles, sea-lions, cetaceans, thus allowing the optimal exploitation of the arm, shoulder, breast and back muscles, as in the case of animal swimming. The principal advantage of this invention being the improved performance aspect in the human swim styles, which gain in naturalness and fluidity.

A multipurpose swimmers aid, characterized in that, the two identical plastic bottles (1), preferably (dry) air-pressurized, are interconnected by a suitably designed joint/handle. The extensions (3) are sometimes necessary for accomodating various objects in its interior. Normally a pair of this aid is needed, one for each hand. This Multipurpose Swimmers Aid satisfies all the requirements for the safety of children and adults, regardless their age and ability to swim and offers easier and faster swimming and entertainment to all swimmers, regardless their experience. For cases of emergency, in the interior of this aid provision can be made for various light/weight items and devices for easy discovery of the victims and for artificial frightening objects to discourage the aggressive sea animals and fishes.
