    摘要: A foam generating device (302) includes a housing (306) defining an agitation chamber (316) and a conditioning chamber (320). A cartridge assembly (350) arranged within the agitation chamber defines an agitation flow path of the solution to increase a quantity of a gas in the solution. A conditioning assembly (370) arranged within the conditioning chamber defines a tortuous flow path for the solution including a plurality of cylindrical discs (372) configured to sequentially receive the solution. Each of the discs defines a plurality of radial ribs on a first side and on a second side opposite the first side, the first and second sides separated by a floor, and a disc passage defined in the floor. The conditioning assembly is adjustable in order to selectively define the tortuous flow path with a first quantity of radial ribs and second quantity of radial ribs in order to alter the aeration of the solution along the tortuous path.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for obtaining a treatment solution (6) containing reactive oxygen species (ROS) comprises a step of generating an ozone water solution (5) and feeding it into a first (73) of two apertures (73,74) of a container (71 ) at a predetermined pressure (P), in the container being arranged a passage body (72) comprising a plurality of passageways (77) having a predetermined passage-section size, so that the ozone water solution (5) flows through the passage body (72) generating the treatment solution (6) in which the ozone is converted to reactive oxygen species such as O2 ions, and so that the treatment solution (6) then flows through a nebulizer device (80) and is released in the form of small droplets immediately after it has been generated, whereby, for instance by spraying the biological system with the treatment solution (6), the reactive oxygen species interact with the biological system before they can decay to molecular oxygen O2, or can incorporated into a gel to stabilize the ROS. The traversing body (72) may be selected among a bundle (75) of hollow (78) or full fibres, a porous body with a percolable open-cell lattice, obtained for example by sintering or in the form of a sponge, or a bed of a loose mineral particulate material, preferably with a traversing passageway size (77). The ozone water solution (5) is preferably obtained by conventionally generating an ozone-containing gas and bringing it into contact with preferably non-deionised water, in a static tank or mixer, preferably in the presence of hydrogen peroxide.
