Abstract:
The present invention relates to lifesaving equipment for a tsunami evacuation, which can cope with an emergency situation when a natural disaster such as a tsunami occurs, to quickly and safely rescue persons. The life-saving equipment comprises: a circular capsule body (110); a capsule-securing unit (130); a weight-balancing unit (40); and a seating unit (50). Said circular capsule body (110) comprises: a transparent window (15); an emergency air inflow unit (16); a distress signal unit (17); and a hanging hole (18) for rescue.
Abstract:
This invention is related to a floatation device, which becomes a belt when its all parts are assembled. The two pouches (1,2) made of clear and soft plastic are inflated by the pressure cylinder (19) in case of danger after the pin (20) on the cylinder (19) is removed and they get out of the covers (5) made of clear and soft plastic to acquire buoyancy force. The user inserts the claws (15) of the male buckle into the gap on the female buckle (8). The buckles are not detached unintentionally unless the claws of the male buckle (15) are manually removed from the female buckle (8) once they have been locked due to the buckle fastening plastic (Figure 4- A, 4-B).
Abstract:
There is provided a object locator device, convertible between an undeployed state and a deployed state, comprising an inflatable portion (2) of at least two linear portions arranged such that the angle between them is less than 180° when the device is in the deployed state, each linear portion being attached to an indicator portion (15) formed by a sheet, means for attachment of the device to the object at one or more pivot points and means (62) for inflation of the inflatable portion.
Abstract:
An inflatable boom (1), the boom being elongate and being provided with at least one line (4) by means of which the boom can be launched from a watercraft into surrounding water. Typically, the boom would be launched into the water by means of a compressed gas launcher (6) launching a projectile (5) on the end of the line. The inflated boom (1) can be used for lifesaving operations to rescue a man overboard (10), or for the recovery of oil spills on water. Also, the boom may be provided with a light source (15), typically internal to the boom (1), with windows (19) along the length of the boom (1) allowing light transmission from the internal light source (15). To this end, the internal wall (20) of the boom may be reflective.
Abstract:
A personal visibility marker 200 may increase the visibility of a person in the water to operators of watercraft or the like and may be used in combination with a personal floatation device. The personal visibility marker 200 may include a housing 207 including at least one intake opening 222. The housing 207 may be removeably coupled to a personal floatation device 302 or may be an integral component of the personal floatation device 302. A pump 202 may be disposed within the housing 207 and may be fluidly coupled to the intake opening 222 and at least one nozzle 204 for expelling a stream of water from the nozzle 204 to increase the visibility of a user. The stream of water may include an interrupted stream. The interrupted stream may be provided by modulating the power to the pump 202 and/or providing a self-resonating nozzle 204.
Abstract:
The safety apparatus for a boat user comprises a first transmitter adapted for being worn by the user and exhibiting a circuit for generating a first radiof requency alarm signal actuable by a detector contact-sensitive to sea water, the first transmitter being in wireless connection with a first receiver adapted for being arranged on the boat.
Abstract:
Marine lifejacket auto-control self igniting guiding light system that only ignites at night and bad visibility once the person or the ring buoy gets into water in a marine accident. It works automatically without chemical reaction between the seawater and the battery contents or by manual button, as currently is the case with other light systems.
