The track plate and base plate are wholly out of direct engagement with and spaced vertically and/or horizontally from each other. An elastic jacket or liner is engaged between the plates and between the tongues of the track plate and the tongues of the base plate.

The invention relates to a bearing for a section of a track comprising, along the track sections, profile sections which deviate form each other, especially in the form of points. Said bearing comprises a plurality of supporting points respectively provided with a ribbed plate, in addition to an intermediate layer (24) made of an elasticated material disposed between the ribbed plate and an associated railway sleeper. According to the invention, in order to obtain identical subsidences along the sections of track, each or substantially each support point has an identical maximum subsidence with respect to each excavated track section or track sections.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein System zum Herstellen einer Schienenbefestigung, in der eine Schiene (S) für ein Schienenfahrzeug auf einem Untergrund befestigt ist, umfassend eine Tragplatte (2,102), eine Zwischenplatte (3,103) und eine Führungsplatte (4,5; 104, 105), wobei die Tragplatte (2,102) eine Aufstützfläche (16) aufweist, in deren Bereich im Gebrauch die Schiene (S) auf der Tragplatte (2,102) abgestützt ist, wobei die Zwischen platte (3,103) dazu vorgesehen ist, im Gebrauch zwischen dem Fuß (Sf) der Schiene (S) und der Tragplatte (2,102) angeordnet zu sein, und wobei seitlich mindestens einer der sich in Längsrichtung (L) der zu befestigenden Schiene (S) erstreckenden Längsseiten der Aufstützfläche (16) der Tragplatte (2, 102) ein Bereich zum Anordnen der Führungsplatte (4,5;104,105) vorgesehen ist, so dass im Gebrauch die Führungsplatte (4,5; 104, 105) gegen die ihr zugeordnete Längsseite des Schienenfußes (Sf) wirkt. Das erfindungsgemäße System für die Herstellung einer Schienenbefestigung und eine Schienenbefestigung lassen sich bei verbesserten Gebrauchseigenschaften besonders einfach montieren. A railway baseplate assembly comprising a baseplate (30), a cushioning pad (20) for lying beneath the baseplate (30), and means (10) for securing the baseplate (30) to an underlying rail foundation when the assembly is in use, wherein the said securing means (10) comprise a non-screw-threaded post member (12), which post member (12) extends, when in use, through holes (21, 31) provided in the baseplate (30) and cushioning pad (20) in such a way as to engage the said baseplate (30). The post member (12) and baseplate (30) may be such that engagement of the baseplate (30) with the post member (12) can be brought about by movement of the baseplate (30) relative to the post member (12) firstly in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane of the baseplate (30) and towards the post member (12) so that the post member (12) extends through the hole (31) in the baseplate (30) and secondly in a direction substantially parallel to the plane of the baseplate so that the post member (12) engages the baseplate (30). The post member (12) is fastened, directly or indirectly, to the rail foundation and the post member (12), cushioning pad (20) and baseplate (30) may be such that the cushioning pad (20) and baseplate (30) can be brought into engagement with the post member (12) while the post member (12) is fastened to the rail foundation.

A track rail fastening system (22) includes a direct fixation fastener assembly (40) having a direct fixation fastener (36), and a laterally elongated support block (24). Fastener holes (82) for receiving fastener-clamping fasteners (48), and fastener holes (86) for receiving bracket-clamping fasteners (56), are formed in the support block (24). The respective sets of fastener holes (82,86) are arranged in different anchor patterns. Fastener-clamping fasteners (48) are received in one of the sets of fastener holes and clamp direct the fixation fastener (36) to the support block (24). Bracket-clamping fasteners (56) clamp a third-rail support bracket (50) to the support block (24) and are received in one of the sets of fastener holes. The third-rail support bracket (50) is cantilevered to the support block (24).

The bottom plate (18) is a generally elongate and rectangular-shaped, in which there are two adjacent, generally rectangular-shaped central cavities (24, 26). The bottom plate (18) comprises a four-sided perimetrical wall (42) shaped like a frame, which has an interior-facing surface and the cavities (24, 26) are separated by an elongate barrier element in the form of an internal wall (44) which is arranged to be transverse to the major elongate axis of the bottom plate (18), so that the internal wall (44) spans the width of the central cavity.
