A solar water heater (10) with integrated water storage tank is disclosed. The solar water heater (10) with integrated water storage tank includes a water heating chamber (40) mounted adjacent to the flat top collector plate (30) and configured to absorb solar energy from received sunlight and heat the water present in the water heating chamber (40). After the supply water is heated in the water heating chamber (40), the hot water moves to top end due to thermosyphon principle. The heated water from the top end flows to a fluidically coupled water storage tank (60) via a unidirectional valve. The integration of the water storage tank (60) and the water heating chamber (40) ensures less space usage and guaranteed reduction in usage of coupling components.

A controller interface (B12) between a hot water tank controller (B13) and a heat pump controller (B2) in a heating system is provided. The controller interface (B12) comprises a response module configured to receive, from the hot water tank controller (B13), a first signal indicative of a temperature. The response module provides a response signal based on the first signal and a temperature response characteristic and communicates the response signal to the heat pump controller (B2). The controller interface (B12) enables interoperability of a heat pump controller (B2) and a legacy hot water tank system and hot water tank controller (B13).

The object of the present invention is a tank (1) to be associated with a wall-hung appliance, for example a standard storage water heater (TS) or a heat pump water heater (AP) of the monobloc type. Said tank (1) is adapted to the collection of the waste liquid produced by said wall-hung appliance (AP, TS) and comprises a closed vessel having a shape substantially similar to that of said appliance (AP; TS), whereto it is removably constrained at the bottom.

The invention relate to a container module (5) for a storage container (1) comprising at least one circular process system (27) for using thermal energy. Said container module (5) comprises a container module housing (6) having a closable mounting opening (28) which is provided for introducing heat exchangers (10, 11,12) and is dimensioned such that a heat exchanger (10, 11, 12) can be introduced into the container module housing (6) and it can be fixed and connected in the container module housing (6), and at least one heat exchanger (10, 11, 12) is arranged in the container module housing (6). Said heat exchangers (10, 11, 12) lead into, by means at least one first pair of connection lines, openings of the housing wall of the container module housing (6) and can be fluidically connected by a connection element (29). A second pair of connecting lines can be connected to other associated heat exchanger media circuits. The container module housing (6) comprises connection devices (25, 26) and a container module housing (6) can be fixed by means of the connection device (25) to another container module housing (6) on said connection device (26) such that the mounting opening (28) of the container module housing (6) can be closed by the means of the base of the other container module housing (6).
