Abstract: Examples include a method for operating a liquid toner electrophotography printer. The method comprises monitoring an optical density of images printed by the printer, storing a first cumulative optical density change value induced by developer voltage changes, and storing a second cumulative optical density change value induced by electrode voltage changes. The method also comprises detecting that the monitored optical density deviates from an operational optical density profile. The method also comprises, in response to the deviation of the monitored optical density, comparing the first cumulative stored cumulative optical density change value to the second cumulative optical density change value; and changing either a developer voltage or an electrode voltage to maintain an optical density change differential between the first cumulative optical density change value and the second cumulative optical density change value within an operational optical density change differential profile.

Abstract: In an example of the disclosure, carrier liquid is supplied to a container with a set of walls defined at least partially by a surface of an electrode. The carrier liquid is caused to move through a container via a carrier liquid flow path to sequentially encounter a set of accumulation elements. Each accumulation element is situated between adjacent walls. A voltage is applied to the electrode to generate an electric field between the electrode surface and the set of accumulation elements. The electric field causes contaminant from the carrier liquid to adhere to the set of accumulation elements.

Abstract: A light source adjustment apparatus is disclosed. The light source adjustment apparatus includes processing apparatus to receive a scanned image of a pattern printed by a print apparatus onto a printable medium, the pattern including a plurality of blocks of print agent of a first colour printed during a printing operation in which light sources of a light source array irradiate a photoconductive surface; analyse the scanned image to identify a region of non-uniformity within the plurality of blocks of print agent; correlate a location of the identified region of non-uniformity with a corresponding light source in the light source array; determine, based on the identified region of non-uniformity, an adjustment to be made to a parameter of the corresponding light source; and generate a signal to effect the determined parameter adjustment with regard to the corresponding light source. A method and a print apparatus are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method may comprise forming an image on a surface by controlled electrostatic transfer of a fluid print agent comprising thermoplastic resin disposed in a carrier fluid. The method may also comprise heating the fluid print agent on the surface to remove the carrier fluid and to melt the thermoplastic resin and allowing the melted thermoplastic resin in continuous areas on the surface to fuse together to form an image from fused print agent. The method may further involve providing a printed substrate bearing the image formed from fused print agent. The method may further comprise irradiating the printed substrate with an ultraviolet narrowband source so as to cause heating of the fused print agent to melt the thermoplastic resin. A print system and a print apparatus are also disclosed.
