Abstract: A system for providing a health care service includes a sound detection device, a first environmental sensor, a network accessible platform, and a network communicatively coupling the sound detection device, the first environmental sensor, and the network accessible platform. The network accessible platform is programmed to evaluate a sound data received from the sound detection device and generated by a user and a first sensor data received from the first environmental sensor to determine an abnormal condition associated with the user. The platform then causes an action to be performed by at least one further device coupled to the network accessible platform. The action is an action that was associated with the determined abnormal condition associated with the user.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer program product provide for improving performance of a condition monitoring system by combining rules and anomaly detection. In the context of a method, the method receives plurality of telemetry data from a monitored system. The method processes the plurality of telemetry data to generate an anomaly score set. The method also processes the plurality of telemetry data in accordance with the predefined rule data object set to generate a rule-based result set. The method determines whether the plurality of telemetry data is associated with an undetected fault of the monitored system and generates an extracted rule data object based on the telemetry data. The method also monitors performance of the machine learning anomaly detection model and determines whether retraining is necessary.

Abstract: A bed system includes microclimate control capabilities for providing quality sleep experience. The bed system can include a microclimate control subsystem configured to supply conditioned air (e.g., heated or cooled air) to a mattress, or draw ambient air from the mattress, to achieve a desired temperature at the top of the mattress. Utilizing supply of conditioned air to provide air at desired temperature to the mattress system, or utilizing air suction to drain heat away from the mattress system, can provide precise microclimate control at the mattress, thereby permitting conformable sleep.

Abstract: A programmable thermostat supports at least one attribute where each different attribute values may support different sets of thermostatic settings. The programmable thermostat may be programmed based on the different attribute values rather than on temperature set points that are traditionally mapped to programmed times. Each set may include settings for a plurality of controlled equipment including a heating/cooling system, fan, ventilator, humidifier, and/or de-humidifier. Each embodiment may support attribute values associated with an occupancy attribute (which is indicative whether or not people are occupying an environmental entity) and/or a scenario attribute (which flexibly maps different thermostatic settings to different scenario attribute values). Stored configuration data about the thermostatic settings may be organized as a tree structure, where the leaves correspond to the thermostatic settings. A programmable thermostat/ventilator controller may also instruct a ventilator system to run during an adjustable pre-occupancy purge time duration before an environmental entity is occupied.

Abstract: There is described a mobile device (422) and method for commissioning air intake control of an environmental control system. A communication component receives multiple air measurements from an air flow sensor (436), in which the air flow sensor (436) is positioned in a duct compartment of the environmental control system. The processor generates multiple air flow tables (408-414) based on the multiple air measurements (434), multiple fan speeds (430) associated with the environmental control system, and multiple damper positions (432) associated with the environmental control system. The communication component transmits the multiple air flow tables (408-414) to an air intake controller (402) of the environmental control system.
