The present disclosure relates to a strain relief sleeve for an electric cable connector and a thermocouple sensor connection assembly. The strain relief sleeve comprises a body portion and at least one electric cable retaining portion. The body portion has a first end and a second end opposite to each other in an electric cable insertion direction, the first end having an open opening. The at least one electric cable retaining portion is connected to the second end of the body portion and extends away from the second end of the body portion, an internal space of the at least one electric cable retaining portion being in communication with an internal space of the body portion. The at least one electric cable retaining portion is elastically flexible relative to the body portion.

The strain relief can be used around a cable (200) of a component (205) or a spool extension (305) of a fiber tray (300). In some cases, the strain relief can be formed with multiple U-shaped channels (105). Also, in some cases, the apparatus may include a second strain relief (100, 100a, 100b) formed in a helical shape and including at least one channel (105), where the second strain relief is interleaved with the strain relief. In addition, in some cases, the apparatus may include a solid mandrel (110) connected to an end of the strain relief.

A cable gland device for locking a cable at a passage opening through a wall, for example, a wall of an electrical appliance, comprises a cable clamp suitable to lock the cable and an anchor ring suitable to be placed around the cable clamp to anchor it onto the inner side of the wall. The cable clamp comprises two wedge-shaped jaws mutually movable one toward the other to lock the cable therebetween. Each of these wedge-shaped jaws has an inclined wall suitable to be engaged by a respective anchor portion of the anchor ring and is provided with a fixing appendage wherein a slot is obtained extending in a plane parallel to the support base and predominantly in the direction of translation of the jaws.

Electrical switching apparatus and strain relief assemblies therefor are described herein. In one exemplary, non-limiting embodiment, a strain relief assembly (100) includes a cover (104) and a base (106), each of which include a number of grooves (114-1, 114-2, 114-3, 116-1, 116-2, 116-3) structured to receive a number of wires. Each groove has a first side (114a) and a second side (114b), where the second side is located opposite the first side. Furthermore, located on the first side and/or the second side are a number of protrusions (118a, 118b, 120a, 120b). The grooves and the protrusions serve to secure the number of wires within the strain relief assembly such that, if a force is applied to an end of the wire, the protrusions work to retain the wires with the assembly.

The collet is coupled to a strain relief (107) comprising a nut (122) and a strain relief projection (135). The collet comprises at least one leaflet (124, 125) and at least one collet spur (672, 682), and the nut comprises at least one ratchet (251). The collet is configured to couple to the nut, and the at least one ratchet is configured to interact with the at least one collet spur to securely fasten the strain relief to the catheter handle. The at least one leaflet is configured to couple to a catheter shaft.

A cable clamp for clamping a cable with respect to a through hole of a solid object is presented. The cable clamp comprises first and second elements (102, 103) and retainer devices (105) for keeping the first and second elements with respect to each other so that the cable gets clamped between the first and second elements and the cable clamp gets locked to the edges of the through hole with the aid of first claws extending over the edges of the through hole on a first side of the solid object and with the aid of second claws capable of extending over the edges of the through hole on the second side of the solid object. The cable clamp can be inserted into the through hole when the first and second elements are tilted with respect to each other so that the first claws are nearer to each other.
