    Abstract: Various examples are provided related to single channel and multi-channel radio frequency (RF) steganography. In one example, a method includes generating an amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) broadband signal; spectrally slicing the ASE broadband light to achieve taps for generating a dynamic photonic finite impulse response in an RF domain; generating a stealth-modulated broadband optical carrier by combining a stealth signal with the spectrally sliced ASE broadband light; passing the stealth-modulated broadband optical carrier to a dispersive medium to achieve the dynamic photonic FIR in the RF domain; and transmitting the stealth-modulated optical comb carrier via a transmission fiber. The ASE broadband light can have wavelength and intensity corresponding to background noise of a photonic system. In another example, a system for RF steganography includes a stealth transmitter. The stealth transmitter can generate and transmit the stealth-modulated optical comb carrier to a stealth receiver via a transmission fiber.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for transferring data during power transfer in a wireless power transfer system (100). The wireless power transfer system (100) comprises a power transmit device (120) arranged to transfer power over an inductive wireless power transfer interface (105) operating at a transmit frequency to a power receive device (110). The wireless power transfer system (100) is adapted to transfer information at half duplex using Frequency Shift Keying, FSK, in one direction and Amplitude Shift Keying, ASK, in the other direction. The method comprises transferring, at the transmit frequency by the power transmit device (120), power to the power receive device (110) and, during the transferring transmitting, at the transmit frequency by one of the power transmit device (120) or the power receive device (110) a first data packet to the other of the power transmit device (120) or the power receive device (110) using one of two modulation types being FSK or ASK. The method further comprises, during the transmitting, determining, by the device (110, 120) transmitting the first data packet, if a signaling condition is fulfilled, and if the signaling condition is fulfilled, changing a data communication configuration of the device (110, 120) transmitting (311) the first data packet. Further to this, a power transmit device, a power receive device and a test system is disclosed.

    Abstract: An apparatus for a signal processor for Wide-Band Applications is provided. The signal processor includes a plurality of parallel branches. Each parallel branch includes a frequency shifter, a sigma-delta-modulator, and a filter. The output signal of each branch is combined via a signal recombiner. The signal processor is suitable for wide-band applications due to centering the zeros of the sigma-delta-modulator's noise transfer function and filter's noise transfer function at the frequency of the frequency shifter in the same branch of the signal processor. Centering these zeros at the frequency of the frequency shifter shapes the quantization noise added by the sigma-delta-modulator away from the input signal frequency to make it easier to remove the quantization noise. This wideband performance is also achieved due to the design of the embodiment's filters. The embodiments of this invention use filters with symmetric transition bands and a pass-band that is wide enough for use in wireless applications.

    Abstract: A mixer circuitry 100 comprises a mixer (110), an LO leakage detector (120), a digital LO leakage cancellation controller (130) and a DAC arrangement (140). The mixer (110) is configured to mix a first local oscillator, LO, signal having an LO frequency fLo with an intermediate frequency, IF, signal and generate an output signal, i.e. a wanted signal. The LO leakage detector (120) measures the LO leakage at the output of the mixer (110) in the presence of the wanted signal. Then in the digital LO leakage cancellation controller (130), a digital algorithm is run that automatically adjusts the LO leakage in the mixer by steering the digital-to-analog converter arrangement (140) such that the intermediate frequency input signal level to the mixer is adjusted.

    Abstract: An electronic horn for a train includes a microcontroller and a horn configured to provide an audible output sound, the microcontroller configured to provide one or more signals to the horn indicative of a desired audible output sound from the horn.
