    摘要: A multi-antenna transceiver system is disclosed. The system comprises a group of transceiver chips, wherein each transceiver chip has a respective chip-associated (e.g., on-chip) frequency generator configured to provide a respective conversion frequency, and wherein each transceiver chip is configured to use the respective conversion frequency for on-chip frequency conversion of a transceiver signal. The system also comprises a controller adapted to cause configuration of the respective chip- associated frequency generator of at least one of the transceiver chips, wherein the configuration comprises dynamically setting the respective conversion frequency. Typically, the respective conversion frequencies are different for at least two of the transceiver chips. For example, the respective conversion frequencies may be two different frequencies for carrier aggregation and/or dual connectivity. In some embodiments, the controller comprises at least one respective piece of circuitry comprised on at least one of the transceiver chips. The respective piece of circuitry is adapted to cause configuration of the respective chip-associated frequency generator of at least the transceiver chip on which it is comprised. In some embodiments, the controller comprises a single piece of circuitry separate from the transceiver chips. The single piece of circuitry is adapted to cause configuration of the respective chip-associated frequency generator of two or more of the transceiver chips. Corresponding controller, transceiver chip, network node, wireless communication device, method and computer program product are also disclosed.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, a millimeter-wave (mm-wave) frontend integrated circuit includes an array of mm-wave transceivers, where each of the mm-wave transceivers transmits and receives coherent mm-wave signals with variable amplitudes and phase shifts. The mm-wave frontend IC chip further includes a wideband frequency synthesizer coupled to the mm-wave transceivers. The full-based or wideband frequency synthesizer generates and provides a local oscillator (LO) signal to each of the mm-wave transceivers to enable the mm-wave transceiver to mix, modulate, and/or demodulate mm-wave signals. The array of mm-wave wideband transceivers and the wideband frequency synthesizer may be implemented within a single IC chip as a single mm-wave frontend IC chip or package.

A method of performing analog interference cancellation in a wireless communications device having a transmitter and a receiver includes receiving a reference signal representative of an interfering signal transmitted by the transmitter, selecting a first target interference type from one of a plurality of interference types affecting a an RF signal received by the receiver, configuring a first filter of an interference cancellation circuit using a coefficient computed based on the first target interference type, and cancelling interference in the RF signal using an output of the first filter. Coefficient computation may be performed in a switched manner between analog and digital domain, simultaneously in multiple domains, or in a cascaded manner that provides digital interference cancellation.

The first transceiver is configurable by the controller to support first communications through a cellular network to at least one of a packet-based network and a circuit-switched network. In an aspect, the second transceiver is further configured to switch from the first mode to the second mode by moving its wireless connection from the cellular network to the access point while maintaining a network-layer connection to the cellular network.
