The second end portion (14) of the chassis comprises a fastening device (48, 49) for securing the second end portion (14) of the chassis to the belt portion so that said article assumes a pant-like shape with the belt portions forming a part of a waist portion of the pant. The first and second belt portions (16, 17)being folded over said first surface (21) to form a folded belt configuration prior to use of said article, whereby said first belt portion (16) is arranged on top of the second belt portion(17). In addition, a belt-opening trigger zone (50) is disposed on the first belt portion and arranged adjacent the free end (11) of the first belt portion(16).
Abstract:
A dispenser for on-demand dispensing a belt for use with an absorbent product is provided. The dispenser comprises a separating device (10) for separating a belt component (100) from a roll or a stack of continuous web material (102). Part of the continuous web material (102) is arranged to extend in a plane (104) inside the dispenser. The separating device (10) comprises a cutting edge (20), which cutting edge (20) is movable in relation to the plane (104) on a first side (106) of the plane (104). The cutting edge (20) is arranged to intersect with the plane (104) at an acute angle (a) to the plane (104) as the cutting edge (20) is moved through the plane (104). Further a method of separating a belt component is provided.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a portable sanitary pad comprising: a base including a pad-attaching portion corresponding to the bottom portion of a finger, a finger-shielding portion extending from one end of the pad-attaching portion and blocking a fingertip from coming into contact with skin, and a palm-shielding portion extending from the other end of the pad-attaching portion and preventing a palm from coming into contact with the skin; a back hand band having both ends thereof fixed on both sides of the upper surface of the pad-attaching portion, having an inserting space formed therein into which the finger is to be inserted, and being supported on the back of a hand; and a pad portion, provided on the lower surface of the pad attaching portion, for contacting the skin and wiping away impurities, wherein an absorbing layer of the pad portion contains an air freshener composition formed by mixing extracts extracted from the Chinese medicinal ingredients mistletoe, mugwort, Q. salicina, Sanguisorba officinalis, sweet flag, Lespedeza cuneata, Rumex crispus, and Ceramiaceae, with distilled water. Accordingly, many pads can be conveniently carried in a tight space since each pad has a relatively small size and a flat shape, the sanitary pad is simple to use since it can be inserted using the fingers after the inserting space is spread open, and the pad can be used in a very sanitary manner because impurities such as urine and menstrual blood do not come into contact with the hand, and further, the skin of a human body is not damaged.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an absorbent pad having a chassis comprising a liquid-permeable topsheet and a liquid-impermeable backsheet, wherein the absorbent pad is geometrically symmetrical along its longitudinal and transversal centre lines. The absorbent pad is provided with attaching arrangements by which the pad can be releasably attached to a separate belt adapted to be placed around the waist of the user. The absorbent pad further comprises an absorbent core interposed between the topsheet and backsheet, which is also geometrically symmetrical along the longitudinal and transversal centre lines of the pad so that the absorbent core is divided into a first longitudinal half and a second longitudinal half along its longitudinal length. The absorbent core has a thickness which is substantially the same on the same distance from the transversal centre line (measured perpendicular to the transversal centre line) before the core is wetted. The first longitudinal half has a higher absorption capacity than the second longitudinal half. The present invention is also directed to an absorbent article comprising the above absorbent pad and a separate belt to which the pad is releasably attached.
Abstract:
Abstract:
An absorbent article includes side panels for securing around the waist of the user. The absorbent article includes a first end, a second end, and an absorbent section therebetween. The first end has longitudinal side edges and a first waist line edge. A pair of side panels extend from longitudinal side edges of said first end of the absorbent article, and are shaped and dimensioned so as extend beyond the first waist line edge of the first end of the absorbent article a longitudinal extent so that the side panels may be secured above the hip joints of the user.
Abstract:

The rear portion (14) comprises an absorbent pad (16) configured to absorb rectal discharge. The rear portion (14) is also connected to a narrower crotch portion (18) via a tapered portion (20). At least one front suspension strap (22) is mounted to the crotch portion (18) and is configured to connect the crotch portion (18) to a front portion of the waistband (12).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a belted disposable absorbent article (1), such as an incontinence article or a diaper, having a longitudinal (y) and a transverse (x) extension and having an open position and a closed position, the article comprising: a front portion (5), a rear portion (6) and a crotch portion (7) there between, and a first and a second belt member (9, 9') attached to the front or rear portion (5,6) of the article and extending in the transverse (x) direction of the article, wherein said belt members (9, 9') each comprise an end portion (10, 10') and a remaining main portion, when in said closed position, said belt members (9, 9') are provided in an overlapping relationship to each other such that at least said end portion (10) of the first belt member (9) at least partially overlaps the main portion of second belt member (9'), and the article further comprises a fastening means (11) for fastening said belt members (9, 9') in the closed position. At least the outer surface of the end portion (10) of the first belt member (9) is tactilely distinguishable from the outer surface of the main portion of the second belt member (9'), for enhancing tactile identification of said end portion (10) in relation to the underlying main portion of the second belt member (9') when the article is in said closed position. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a belted disposable absorbent article.
