The invention relates to a system for changing the hammers of a shredder (10) comprising a shredder (10) with one or more covers (26a, 26b) and a rotating drum (36) equipped with a plurality of hammers; a lifting system (12) suitable to move said hammers and a control unit (50) which controls both the opening of the shredder (10) and the movements of the lifting system (12) and preferably also the unlocking/locking of the hammers from/on the drum (36) to allow their replacement. The system can be managed hydraulically with a single hydraulic supply. It is included to be able to control the system remotely or to include its automation according to a maintenance plan. A relative method for changing the hammers of a shredder is also disclosed.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung, vorgesehen zur Verwendung zum Zerkleinern, mit einem eine erste Lagerwandung (2) und eine der ersten Lagerwandung (2) gegenüberliegende zweite Lagerwandung (3) aufweisenden Maschinengehäuse (4), mit wenigstens einer zwischen der ersten Lagerwandung (2) und der zweiten Lagerwandung (3) vorgesehenen Zerkleinerungswalze (5), wobei in den Bereich einer ersten Öffnung in der ersten Lagerwandung (2) ein Getriebeanschluss (7) eines Getriebes ragt, mit dem die Zerkleinerungswalze (5) an ihrer dem Getriebeanschluss (7) zugewandten ersten Stirnseite (9) getrieblich verbunden ist und wobei in der zweiten Lagerwandung (3) eine zweite Öffnung (10) für die Zerkleinerungswalze (5) vorgesehen ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass von wenigstens einer Randkante (11) der zweiten Lagerwandung (3) ausgehend ein nach außen offener Öffnungsbereich (12) vorgesehen ist, der in die zweite Öffnung (10) übergeht.

A rotor positioning device (113) in a crusher (1) for adjusting a rotational position of a rotor shaft (6). A shaft engager (105) includes a female toothed mating surface (120) for coaxial engagement with a male mating surface (121) at an end of the rotor shaft (6), so they become rotationally interlocked. The shaft engager (105) includes alignable indicator slots (128) that are, in use, alignable with markings (129) associated with an end of the rotor shaft (6), such that said markings become visible through the slots (128) as the rod (104) is rotationally driven by a drive component (107, 108). The markings (129) correspond to hammer positions within the crusher, such that these can be manoeuvred for maintenance (e.g. to top dead-centre positions) before access to the crusher chamber is gained.

Abstract:
A system and method for liberating different materials in recyclable material streams is provided. A material stream is introduced into an adjustable dwell time shredder. The dwell time of the shredder is adjustable by rotating the shredder from a first position to a second position, thereby changing the migration rate of objects within the shredder. The liberation of materials is not dependent on the ability of the shredder to reduce materials to a certain granule size in order to pass through a grate or screen. The dwell time of the shredder may be adjusted during operation of the shredder.

The present invention relates to a rock crushing apparatus. Known apparatus operate on the distinct principles of compression crushing (compression between moving surfaces) or impact crushing (compression via high velocity rock impacting a surface). Both types of apparatus have disadvantages in the quality of the crushed product, energy inefficiency or high rotor wear rates. The apparatus (1) comprises a rotor (2) comprising a number of reciprocating (11) and fixed compression crushing elements (12, 13) to compression crush the rock between adjacent reciprocating and fixed surfaces. The positioning of these elements (11, 12, 13) within the rotor performs an arresting action on the rock to limit the maximum radial velocity (Vr) the rock attains before its ejection from the compression crushing elements (11, 12, 13) for impact crushing on an adjacent surface. In this way the disadvantages of compression and impact crushing are minimised to produce a superior product.

Systems and methods of making and using fine particle materials in pigment blends and for using the aforementioned pigment blends in paint, coating, or coloring compositions are provided. This invention further provides systems and methods of enhancing the visual appearance of a variety of substrates by introducing a paint, coating, or coloring composition to the substrate. The fine particle materials of the present invention have a substantially random geometric shape, a particle size less than about 100 microns, and help provide both functional and visual enhancing properties to compositions and substrates containing these fine particle materials.

The invention relates to a treatment line and to methods and devices for destroying workpieces that are shaped like circular blanks. Such blanks are, for example, circulated as coins and they have to be obliterated reliably, verifiably and at low costs partially in large amounts once they are removed from circulation. To this end, the invention provides a device for treating workpieces that are shaped like circular blanks and devices for derolling and unwrapping said blanks. In this combination, these devices facilitate an obliteration of workpieces that are shaped like circular blanks without almost any human intervention. The invention also relates to preferred configurations of these devices.
