    Abstract: There is provided a package (1) for holding a food product. The package (1) comprises a base (6), a sidewall (7), a shoulder (8), a neck (9) and a closure (11) for forming a sealed, inner space (15) for the food product.     Abstract: A new fluid dispenser container is described which comprises a transparent plastic container body (12) with an open end and a separate bottom part (13) joined by laser welding to the open end of the transparent plastic container body. The separate bottom part (13) is made from the same transparent plastic material as the plastic container body (12) and the separate bottom part is laser welded to the plastic container body by melting mating surface lines on the plastic container body (12) and on the separate bottom part (13), whereas the heat to melt is created by a stationary laser means while the plastic container body has been rotated by rotating means at least over a full rotation or by a circularly movable laser means in a full circular motion while the plastic container is stationary.

    Abstract: The present application describes a thin-walled single-serve perishable food container configured to be economically manufactured from metal and useable by a consumer in the existing single-serve metal container, for example, a disposable single-serve metal yogurt cup. The thin-walled container has a top flange coupled to a bottom with a cylindrical wall and a conical sidewall that extends inwardly from the top flange, such that a diameter of the bottom is less than a diameter of the top flange. The thin-walled container may house other foods, such as ground or pulverized organic or synthetic powdered mixtures or dried food. The container may also have a cover or lid that hermetically seals the contents.

    Abstract: A bottle closure includes a body having an upper portion and a lower portion. The body upper portion is formed with a cavity, and a drink spout is disposed in the cavity. The drink spout is in fluid communication with a straw which includes a biasing portion extending from the drink spout and an extension portion insertable in a bottle. The drink spout is moveable between an open position in which the drink spout extends out of the cavity and a closed position in which the drink spout is contained in the cavity. The body also has a drink spout cover movable between a closed position in which the drink spout cover extends over the cavity and an open position in which the drink spout cover enables access to the cavity. The straw biasing portion biases the drink spout and the drink spout cover toward the respective open positions.

    Abstract: The container assembly includes a container (1) and a bottom chime (3). The container (1) has a peripheral side wall (4) and a top wall formed with a central neck (6) containing a valve fitting (7) provided with a dip tube which extends into the container. The container has a bottom wall formed with a central projection defining an internal well inside the container, and the chime (3) has an inner hub with a central opening which receives the central projection to locate the inner hub against lateral movement without fixation. An outer skirt (15) is joined to the inner hub. An outer fixationlayer (20) of shrink wrap polymer closely conforms to the external profile of the side wall (4) of the container and the skirt (15) of the chime. The shrink wrap layer (20) permits quick and clean separation of the components for recycling. The layer (20) may be pigmented to reduce light penetration into the container and also reduces possible gas penetration. The layer also contains the forceof expansion and limits the extent of spillage in the event of rupture of the container.
