Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, a device and a system for a glass bending process. The method includes: obtaining a shape measurement of glass manufactured according to the glass bending process; determining a value of a change in a parameter associated with the glass bending process via a model, based on the shape measurement of the glass and a target shape, wherein a difference between the shape measurement and the target shape is a function of the change in the parameter associated with the glass bending process, wherein the model is characterized by an elementary shape for the parameter associated with the glass bending process and an amplitude function of the change in the parameter associated with the glass bending process; and adjusting the parameter associated with the glass bending process, based on the value of the change in the parameter associated with the glass bending process.

In one or more embodiments, such curved glass articles include the first major concave surface comprising a maximum radius of curvature of about 100 mm or greater and a first maximum CS value (CS max1 ) of greater than about 800 MPa, a second major convex surface comprising a second maximum CS value (CSmax2), wherein the CS max2 is less than CS max1. Embodiments of an automotive interior system including such curved glass articles and methods of making glass articles are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for compensating for warp in a glass article including placing the glass article on a fixture, heating the glass article to a first temperature in a viscoelastic range, cooling the glass article on the fixture to a second temperature, and then removing the glass article from the fixture and cooling the glass article to room temperature. The fixture may include a recess such that when the glass article is heated to the first temperature, the glass article sags into the recess. The fixture may be a flat plate when the glass article is heated to the first temperature, a temperature gradient is formed within the glass article. A method for compensating for warp includes physically removing portions of the glass article that are determined to warp when chemically strengthened.
