Abstract:
The invention provides for the positioning of display surfaces that are connected to each other at the desired angle by connection the display surfaces together of the displays made of any suitable material, in particular of wood, metal, plastic, paper (honeycomb panel etc.); Wood, metal, plastic, paper (honeycomb panel, etc.) mainly made of all kinds of materials, or furniture accessories made of all kinds of materials to be foldable hereby reducing shipping costs and making the assembly easy and quick for the end user.
Abstract:
A furniture system (1) including a pair of furniture elements (2, 3) and a locking mechanism (4) is presented. The locking mechanism (4) further includes a lever (5) and a catch (7) which facilitate tool-free assembly of the furniture elements (2, 3). The lever (5) is rotatably attached to one furniture element (2) about a first center of rotation (6). The lever is rotatable between a locked position (10) and an unlocked position (9). The catch (7) is rotatably attached to the lever (5) about a second center of rotation (8). The second center of rotation (8) is rotatably disposed about the first center of rotation (6). The catch (7) contacts a lip (29) along another furniture element (3) to releasably secure the furniture elements (2, 3) in the locked position (10). The furniture system (1) may include any furniture type or design which requires assembly, either in part or whole, between two or more components.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an upholstery module (UM) for a seat (1), in particular a vehicle seat, such as an aircraft seat, including at least an upholstery part (9) forming at least one of a backrest upholstery part (9'') and a seat pan upholstery part (9'), the upholstery part (9) includes a number of stacked comfort layers (9.4 to 9.7) and a number of functional elements (9.8, 9.9, 9.17), wherein the upholstery part (9) is detachably coupled to at least one support shell (11), and the support shell (11) is detachably mounted to a seat support structure (5) of the vehicle seat (1). Abstract:
A fastening device, a fastening system comprising a fastening device and corresponding slots/routs are described. There is a fastening device having at least two sides. In another embodiment the fastening device has three sides. Two of the three sides are about ninety degrees to each other and each of the two sides have a fastener located on its outer surface. There is one corresponding slot for each fastener. Each corresponding slot is on the surface of two separate substrates and located approximately ten millimeters away from an outermost edge of the substrate. The fastener secures with the corresponding slot, consequently joining the two substrates at approximately ninety degrees.
Abstract:
A furniture module (170) is disclosed, comprising a housing (100) having opposing top and bottom ends, the housing comprising a back piece (102) and two side walls (106) being pre-mounted to the back piece (102).
Abstract:
A locator guide extension connected to a locator on a host component by at least one retention barb or like feature. The locator guide extension effectively extends the length of the locator to assists an operator in the initial alignment of the host component part to the assembly. An operator locates apertures in the assembly with the locator guide extension prior to inserting attachment clips of the host component. Once initially aligned, the operator pushes the locator guide extension and locator into the aperture, where the locator provides the final fit/finish location. The attachment clip connects the host component to the final assembly.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a system for mounting a bin in a cavity. In one form the system comprises two runners configured to be mounted in the cavity, a frame mounted on the two runners and configured to move in and out of the cavity on the runners, the frame being configured to support a lower portion of the bin, a mounting for mounting a front panel in front of the frame such that, when the frame is retracted into the cavity, the front panel substantially closes the cavity, and securement means for substantially securing an upper portion of the bin relative to the front panel. In another form the mounting is substantially free of exposed parts that may damage clothes. In another form the system comprises runner covers the prevent objects falling into the cavity contacting the runners. In another form the frame comprises an annular rim to receive a bottom end of the bin.
