Abstract:
A modular kitchen unit has a plurality of adjacent functional elements (1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, 1F, 1G, 1H, 1I, and 1L) and includes a multiplicity of vertical posts (2) in the form of sections having a profile with at least a front wing (20) and a side wing (21), a multiplicity of upper and lower panels (3, 4) and of lower partitions (5) fixed to the vertical posts (2). The vertical posts (2) have through slots (22) at least superiorly in the front wing (20), and the upper panels (3) have hook members (6) engaging the through slots (22) for mounting the upper panels (3) to the vertical posts (2), in such a way that the modular kitchen unit is free-standing.
Abstract:
PORTABLE MODULAR KITCHEN There is provided with a kitchen [10] assembly comprising at least one module, each module having a top portion [60F] and providing at least one kitchen function; and a benchtop [80] for mounting to the at least one module, the benchtop [80] substantially extending across the top portion [60F] of the at least one module.
Abstract:
A circular kitchen cupboard includes a frame, a base and a worksurface (2). Said frame includes at least 4 vertical plates (20, 22) having supporting and separating functions. The vertical plates are parallel at least pairwise and the surfaces of the vertical plates are vertically intersecting close to their midpoints. The ends of the vertical plates are arrranged on at least 4 cross beams (23, 24) which are used as supporting parts and vertically intersecting at least pairwise. Said vertically intersecting crossbeams constitute the base of the circular kitchen cupboard. Said worksurface (2) is arranged on the frame formed of the vertical plates.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a furniture arrangement for built-in appliances, a front panel being fastened to every built-in appliance. According to the invention, a first built-in appliance is arranged without an interposed partition wall directly next to a piece of furniture or an additional built-in appliance and a frame element imitating the missing partition wall is provided on the front panel of at least one built-in appliance.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to a carrying structure for furniture, especially for kitchen furniture or the like, comprising a plurality of modular elements featuring at least two uprights and at least one crosspiece associated with said uprights by placing temporary fastening means in between, the modular elements being associated with each other in a removable way so as to delimit at least one housing compartment for kitchen equipment or the like, and to support at least one substantially horizontal supporting and/or work top.
Abstract:
A cooking unit (10) has a cooking chamber (16) for water which is heated and drained from a post by electrical remote controls (20, 22) which are compactly placed on the surface of the unit. In one embodiment, a basin (14) is employed with the cooking unit and affords alternative side-to-side and back-to-back movement of a cutting board (62) over the basin. Various types of cooking utensils can be employed in conjunction with the cooking chamber and the basin.
Abstract:
A method of making beverage container (such as a wineglass, a stemless wineglass, a beer mug or the like) having a magnet adhesively affixed to the bottom of the beverage container. The magnetic base beverage container can be used in combination with a metal strip to support the magnetic base beverage container by attraction of the magnet to the metal support. The method includes providing a base and a drinking glass, coupling at least one magnet to the base forming an assembly, and attaching the assembly to a bottom surface of the drinking glass. Attaching the assembly to a bottom surface of the drinking glass includes applying a waterproof adhesive to one or both of the assembly and the the the bottom surface of the drinking glass and applying sufficient pressure between the assembly and the drinking glass to spread the adhesive as a layer over at least part of an upper surface of the assembly.
